Japan endured a first half onslaught from the germans, finding themselves 1-0 down at the break with just a few hints at goal going forward. However, two late substitutions gave them a much needed boost, leading them to unlikely victory, with only 26% Possession and less than half the amount of shots compared to Germany.

  1. Just one small missed detail.. you forgot to mention how Rudiger's goofy run was so powerful that slanted the slope of the pitch towards Germany's goal, making the ball roll towards its direction.

  2. Germany just isn't ready for this World Cup. They played like they weren't match fit yet and even their decision making looked sloppy. Their quality carried them for 50, 60 minutes but the Japanese just got more endurance and energy in the last stage of the game.

  3. Germany got what they deserve. Please cover your mouths and noses very well to avoid infecting people on the way out. They really need to disinfect their hotel accommodation very well.
