Manchester City have agreed a £53m deal to sign Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes.
The deal – which is a club-record sale for Wolves – is higher than the £47m verbal agreement that was originally reached.
City will now pay more but with a different payment structure.
There are no add-ons, apart from a 10 per cent sell-on fee on any profit City make on Nunes.
With the paperwork now agreed and in the final stages, Nunes has been given permission to travel to Manchester to have a medical.
In a separate deal, Tommy Doyle will have a medical on Thursday for a season-long loan with a €5m (£4.3m) option.
City have a 50 per cent sell-on fee for any profit Wolves make on him.
