Are American soccer players treated differently in leagues abroad?
It's going to seem that way when there's a relatively tiny amount of American players in Europe, none of which being main players yet
Americans think their guys are the only ones warming the bench. entitled bs
U.S. fans being whiny??? I don’t believe it. Seriously though, it’s embarrassing being a U.S. fan most of the time. A bunch of entitled babies who love blaming everyone but the players who play in Europe.
I wish ppl would hold Pulisic more accountable instead of using the American victim card. Euro based fans, coaches, teams don't care where a player is from. They see players from all over the world in their leagues. They want to win. They will play the athletes that are best able to ensure they win.
Pulisic's issue is the same one he has always had. He is streaky. When his confidence is high he can be an impactful player. When he isn't feeling it he ghosts. If he wants to be an elite player he needs to be more consistent.

The problem with U.S. players is that they lack tactical awareness. It’s been a problem with U.S. players for 40 years and it ain’t getting any better. It’s why so many fail in Europe.
The comments by others about US players being benched cause from US is a reality. The reason is European audiences accept it than other players. Call it whiney but its true.
He came off the bench for one match. My god the US soccer media will make somthing out of nothing. He will prolly start the next match. It’s not a big deal.
Pulisic if he’s that good he would start. This isnt jeremy lin getting kicked out of the knicks by some guys from the hood because he’s chinese. 😂😂. It’s funny how this country can be racist but when they’re on the wrong end of it, they weep and cry 😂.
Christian is an average soccer player when you compare him to other players from other countries. He is a role player. He should have stayed at Dortmund. The US have no World Class players!
You know Alexi it could be Pioli was just managing his rest. He has further to travel on the international break than most guys. US team depends heavily on him as well. Chukwueze's only chance to start. It's just one CL game – we'll see how it plays out. It's also a good strategy option for Pioli to bring Pulisic and Reijnders in the 60 min makes their pace and attacking more effective since guys are getting tired in the 2nd half. Woulda been great for Pulisic to come in and get the game winning goal. Also, even Messi has missed some starts and was benched in like the 30 min last game. These guys have what 4 different Leagues and Cups to play. It's a long season… rest is gooood

He’s absolutely right. You can’t complain about being benched when you don’t put in a good enough effort. You need to go in every game knowing you have to show everything you have every single game. Make yourself un-droppable
Lalas. You really got these people thinking Christian pulisic didn’t put in 3 master class performances to earn Milan’s player or the month in august. In iconic clubs with deep benches you get to be rested. That’s what happens. But you clearly know none of these viewers are even watching serie A or the Milan games
