  1. City have the financial capacity to be one of the biggest bullies in the world (i/e PSG), but routinely back out of "paying over the odds" for players (a couple exceptions like Haaland ik). They could easily come to us, offer 150mil, spit on our faces and then tell us to wipe it off with the cash; but they don't. I feel like i should be happy abt that, but does a gazelle thank a lion for not eating it TODAY? anyway, moyes out n all

  2. I dont believe Paqueta is staying tbh. If Kudus signs he is going to want guaranteed game time to get that deal over the line. A deal has probably already been agreed with city but not until a replacement is already in place because we've been caught out with last minute goings & not enough time for replacements before. The declan rice deal dragged on alot longer than we would've hoped or wanted so we learn our lesson. Maybe this way is now the Tim Steidten way of doing business

  3. Could end being a good window. What realistic 2 signings would u like us to make. No links for him but I’d love us to get Marcus edwards from Lisbon and I think we need a better right back so I’d look at getting Geertruida from feyenhood

  4. Losing Dec was bad enough, but at least we saw it coming. Losing paqueta would be double bad news. He's quickly become a fan favourite and really he's our most valuable player. He's the perfect cm, aggressive, can tackle and is like velvet on the ball. He makes us so much better. Hopefully paqueta can understand how important and valued he is, hence why he can't go yet.

  5. Of course, if Lucas has a good season….which we all hope that he will….somebody will come in for him next year.

Get him and Kudus in the team and we might well be on to something this year but now we are hearing that the Kudus deal is on the rocks

  6. Man City are using their ‘we’re Man City and ur player wants to come so you need to cut the price or he’ll strop’ discount. We were never going to sign Kudus and keep Paqueta so forget Kudus. Furthermore, we’re still waiting for Maguire and we’re jerking the Greek fellow around. By windows end it’ll be Lingard and Maguire in, and it won’t be happening until the very end of the window. Prepare yourselves so that you don’t lose your rags in the next 2 weeks. This isn’t going to go how you want or think.

  7. Why can’t they pay 85 mil? If you really want a player you will go get them, and Paqueta is worth a lot more, City just gaming the irons so I’m happy we are resisting

  8. The deal is off, he's being investigated for betting irregularities. Where was the disclosure from West Ham and the FA during 10 days of negotiations ? I hope the FA, PL and the police investigate this as it stinks of FRAUD, very dissapointing.
Manchester City's team doing due dilligence discovered this and ir's a good job they did.
It really doesn't get any more serious than this, it's not a few grand for a second hand car, its £85million.
