  1. as a life long Liverpool fan ive always liked Henderson and obviously was delighted when he started lifting trophies for us. I thought the story of him hugging his dad after the champions league final win was sweet.
But ive lost all respect for him and i hope he gets booed on England duty.

Messi, ronaldo, kante, boxers, golfers, anyone, all of them, they can all crash and burn.
Taking money and helping to legitimize evil dictatorships is unforgivable.

  2. I don't mind the loyalty to players he trusts, but at least be honest about it.

Previously, Southgate claimed the reason for not picking new players over his favourites was a lack of game time or form or Champion's League experience. When his favourites lacked minutes, form or CL experience he changed his tune to justify his selection.

If he was honest and said "I just trust these players, we've been in the trenches together" I think people would respect him more. Pretending that his selection is based on other factors, then changing those factors whenever the situation changes, doesn't do him any favours.

  3. England will not win anything with Southgate in charge! England may reach the semi's but only if we don't have a decent team to play against in the run up! first decent team we play, we lose! The only winner is Southgate and his contract!

  4. Ward-Prowse would be a good player to have in a squad for a tournament due to his set piece ability.Tournament football can hinge on very small margins and being able to spring someone like Ward-Prose from the bench for 20 minutes where he could deliver a brilliant set piece could win you a game.I think the fact that Southgate doesn't even consider this aspect and have him involved for this reason is quite bizarre.
