      When will the GFA stop interfering with player selection? It's very uncivilized to do that. This behavior has been going on since my childhood. I believe it's one of the reasons why GFA rejected Chris Houghton as the manager/coach during the hiring process. GFA always wanted someone weaker they can easily bully around as they see Chris as someone they wouldn't be able to bully into submission. A premier league coach wouldn't permit anyone to dictate to him. Can anyone justify why Jordan Ayew should be in the team? He is just taking a spot from someone more qualified to assist Ghana in this endeavor.

      Check the Brazil list. Every department of the team has a local player. From goal keeping to attack, there is a local player in every department. These players may never kick a ball in the tournament but this is a project for the future. Brazil has more than 10,000 professional footballers in Europe alone so they could have snubbed these local players.
      All we do in Ghana is to watch European leagues and see Ghanaian players and quickly rush after them no thinking whether their style will fit our system.
