Boca Juniors present new signing Edinson Cavani to ecstatic fans

Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani was given a rapturous reception on Monday when he was presented to Boca Juniors fans in Buenos Aires.

The 36 years old signed his 18-month contract and was received at La Bombonera stadium with a spectacular show and more than 20,000 fans who sang his name.

During the press conference, Cavani posed with his new number 10 Boca shirt.

Cavani ‘s inclusion in the Boca squad this Wednesday against Uruguay’s Nacional in the Copa Libertadores, is uncertain – the forward hasn’t yet been introduced to his new manager Jorge Almiron, a meeting expected to happen on Tuesday.
