all these fools saying dier would demand to play is a disrespect to dier, not once has he been in trouble, no stories about him going off the rails or anything dodgy.. he's had good periods and bad periods on the pitch and caused no drama…its not his fault he's declined as a player and stayed here to long…blame levy for penny pinching and letting the squad go stale, yan and toby got old and all levy brought was the cheap options in rodon and lenglet on loan….show him some respect ffs

he definately overstepped, but he is in dier starits so i guess he felt that this was his only last chance to straighten things.. i guess he just lost what little respect that ange had for him as a player…and if levy wants to progress the spurs, levy will not over step his boundaries with ange,,, if so, might as well scrap the season…

100% in agreement. Players should never be able to go above the manager's head. If they have a problem with a manager and need to take it up the chain, the agents should speak on their behalf. But the chairman should never meet with the players.
Dier wonāt play for this club againā¦..and that is probably be for the good of the team as he just doesnāt fit into it anymore. Phillips and Dorrington are the future.
Thereās no point including Dier in first team if he is going soon. Put Phillips and or Dorrington in these places and develop them for the future. Letās actually start backing our academy players and not just talk about backing them.
did i not hear that it was levy who asked to speak to dier ? maybe it was ali gold who said so ? might be wrong but its a subtle difference in narrative. also the narrative that dier unfollowed tottenham was completely debunked by ali gold too.. but still reported for content .. im definitely not one to defend dier by any stretch but if both of these things are innacurate its easy to see how narratives form based on what people want to believe. we all wish hed left but i think we should be fair still.

This is pure speculation weāve heard very little coming out from player or club unlike say Sanchoā¦ Both Dier and Lloris have been good servants for this club and I donāt think either deserve the mud being thrown around . I really do not think it has been a 'Levy Open Door Policy' where Eric has walked into Daniel's office to talk about his future. I think Ange has explained the situation to the player and has then asked his chairman to summon the guy and confirm what he's just been told by his manager about his future at the club.
