I would really love to see barça bringing Gundogan..Use Pedrie and Gundogan as attacking midfielders while De Jong is a defensive midfielder..This would be a lethal midfield considering the fact that Gundogan can also drop deep which him and De Jong could complement each other..Our philosophy would not die bcz all 3 of them have that passing prowess

We can’t replace him, I think it’s time to move to a double pivot, and I think if we do end up bringing Messi back, the best plan could end up being de jong and a gavi/pedri rotation as the double pivot in game. Gavi is a tireless workhorse that runs all game and can track back defensively, pedri can drop in between the lines and pick out a game changing pass. De jong is enough said as a double pivot, and he would have to step up defensively to make this succeed, but that puts our best players on the pitch with Messi and no one player has to be benched
Nico is another option. La masia product & midfielder for dm & cm
For me the perfect replacement for Busi is Amrabat we should bear in mind that Leo will be great in front of our attack, but defensively it will definitely not be the one pressing. So to compensate that we have to get players with that kind of volume playing.

There is no way to replace Bussy. All that wr have to do is too seek for a valued enforcement in the midfield. We have three great midfielder currently in Frenkie, Pedri and Gavi…
I am really glad you had the courage to mention Rodri. He remains one of my greatest pangs as a fan. He and Cancelo should have been bought when they were playing for Villarreal and Valencia, respectively. True, we have to be realistic.

They don't need to replace him. His absence will fade away in our minds. He's been shitty for more than 6 years now, especially in champions league.

I think we should make sure Kessie stays. RM are getting Bellingham, and who knows who else? We need at least to keep the players we have and not loose them in the transfer…especially DeJong.
I agree Jamie it's time we adapt to the modern day of playing football to be successful. We can still retain the Tiki Taka and infuse it with the modern way of playing

Frankie at his best, means Pedri can be at his best. The club should aim for a player that will facilitate that, so I like the idea of Amrabat.
