Former Republic of Ireland internationals Keith Treacy and Damien Delaney tell Ann-Marie Keegan they believe the time is right to bring an end to Stephen Kenny’s Ireland reign.
“It’s a far, far stretch of the imagination that’d we’d even get third.”
“He’s out of his depth. Four competitive wins in 23 is nowhere near good enough.”

…got to go
Totally agree with Damien and Keith, Kenny is just not up to it anymore.
Yep, defended him to the hilt, but it's times to go. He was given more than enough time.
Unlucky ireland
It is time for a change Chris Hughton might be an option . He has International Championship and Premier league experience.
The PLAYERS are out of their depth.
4 wins in 23. How this man is still in charge just baffles me!!!
Can't believe kenny is still in the job a day after. I mean surely there not going to give him the next world cup campaign so whats the point..Mugs that pay 80 euros for a aviva ticket and no one in the fai cares about the shite they've to watch..they'll set up next friendly against san marino
Agree with damien
My God he had a run in the Europe league with dundalk and everyone thought he was the bees knees. He's more like nobbely knees who has no idea how to set up a team and his interviews are like him EXPERIENCED!!!!!!
4 competitive wins that says it all time for someone experienced to take over and start getting points on the board
Kenny must go….. Kenny must gooooo ….. The usual tripe from certain quarters ( and these so called " expert analysts " , whoever the fcuk they are !! 🙄) . Let's get " park the bus 5-4-1 Chris Hughton " !! ……….😭
Kenny has to go
Id sack kenny immediately, get mick mccarthy for interim period until end of this qualifying tournament. We have declined greatly since mccarthy departed..4 wins in 23 not accceptable, kenny is being paid more than a brain surgeon, hes on 540k plus…for what…4 wins in 23..get rid now
2 of the 4 wins were v gibralter 😂
Thierry says hi!
Just my opinion yes he does need to go but Ireland as a nation really have to put academys in place for our footballers also try invest in our own professional league an stop hoping we maybe get the odd decent player playing in England it could take decades before we ever amount to any the managers are not really the topic in how bad Ireland is at football
Where do we go from here? The toilet.
They will have to sack him he won't step aside from 500.000 euros a year.unless there's a clause stipulating if he fails to qualify for euro 2024 hees automatically sacked..no doubt hees a goodman and his intentions were honourable but that said..all those fans who were at the aviva tonight who work 9.5 to afford tickets to support Ireland deserve better than this..
He may be out of his depth but so is the squad in equal measure, look at the midfield.
Well done Ireland for winning the most vaccinated gold medal and winning the bronze medal for excess deaths.
“For God’s sake, get the vaccine, and if you don’t, stay at home”. That infamous appeal by one of Ireland’s highly-paid TV presenters should not be forgotten or airbrushed in the annals of recent history.
Hats off to the 15% that did not get the jab.
Hats off to the awakened 98% that are not taking the boosters.
No hats off to the presenter who pushed a branded jab through the medium of a child on a Christmas toy show, the segment regarded by complainants as abuse.
No hats off to politicians and media ignoring excess deaths.
