  1. The battle is no longer in our forests and meadows
but FOR our forests and meadows

  2. Well, there's me in trouble.

Being Anglo-Welsh, the British ability to export great sports abroad and then be crap at them for all time has meant I've not had to face the dilemma of England versus Cymru in footie for something meaningful since the 1970s (Always been Wales for the Rugby).

Not a scooby how I'll handle the next few weeks…

Wel, mae 'na fi mewn trwbl.

Gan fy mod yn Eingl-Gymreig, mae'r gallu Prydeinig i allforio chwaraeon gwych dramor ac yna bod yn crap arnynt am bob amser wedi golygu nad wyf wedi gorfod wynebu cyfyng-gyngor Lloegr yn erbyn Cymru mewn footie am rywbeth ystyrlon ers y 1970au (Erioed wedi bod yn Gymru i'r Rygbi).

Ddim yn sgwennu sut fydda i'n trin yr wythnosau nesaf…

  3. I am a proud Englishman but absolutely love this. True passion. Notice the majority are just singing their hearts out and not stood there like mongs filming it. Hope the Welsh do well at the WC. Donโ€™t get me wrong when they play England I hope they get hammered but letโ€™s get both countries into the next round ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

  4. I came across this by accident a while ago. I've always loved listening to the Welsh national anthem at the rugby and that always gives me goosebumps and I'm English, this gives me goosebumps on my goosebumps ๐Ÿ˜† and makes me feel really emotional. Wpukd love to have been in the stadium. No one can sing quite like the Welsh.

  5. Absolutely amazing from our welsh brothers ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

  6. I'm English and this makes me so emotional. on the verge of tears.
I wish you all the success you deserve. if England don't win it I surely hope Wales go on to!

  7. I have a love hat relationship with Welsh as a Welsh speaker in the valleys. On the one hand I felt held back by it and sometimes looked down, on the other being able to appreciate such a powerful song like this. Wales has been divided forever but maybe now is the time to unite. I hate football but I would trade in rugby for this team to do well at the world cup and put Wales or Cymru on the map.

  8. That is so awesome, I have listened to it about 5 times this morning already. The guy at the 2min mark is somewhere else. Nothing could be that important to miss being part of the song. I want to be Welsh!

  9. I'm so proud to be Welsh and to be able to speak out beautiful language. Nobody sings with more passion about our beautiful country than us welsh! Cymru am byth โค๏ธ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

  10. Thank you for allowing comments. I was lucky enough to be there for both of the games. Never felt so proud of a beautiful song and for being Welsh. For me it had added poignancy for the game against Ukraine: 'In spite of everything and everyone: we are still here
    !!!

  11. Listening to this a few days before Wales play England. God I hope the Welsh fans belt this out in the stadium. I donโ€™t care if it gives the Welsh team an extra 10% boost, itโ€™s just amazing.

  12. I was wondering what the song is about and what the words meant ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Sounds nice anyway… ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿด๐Ÿด๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

  13. Iโ€™m Scottish and that is one the most powerful, rousing songs Iโ€™ve ever heard !!! Made for a stadium, should be the Welsh National anthem in my opinion !!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

  14. I'm so pissed off that I'm a Dic Siรดn Dafydd despite all the years of clues being 39.

I thought Wales hated us because we were near the English border. Had no clue that it was because our schools failed us in the Welsh language. I'm with you brothers. Rh'n ni yma o hyd!

  15. I am proud to be English so I do get that this refers to how the Welsh have proudly stood up against (mostly English) oppression and are literally still here. I think this is brilliant tbf. At least the Welsh can state to be proud to be Welsh, can belt out this and their own anthem. The English cannot without being labelled far right.

  16. As an Englishman and love everything English that was stunning the pride of the Welsh is there for everyone to see and love well done everyone a great pleasure and joy to listen too you all I applaud you

  17. You don't remember Macsen,
    nobody knows him.
One thousand and six hundred years,
a time too long to remember.
    When Magnus Maximus left Wales,
    in the year three-hundred-eight-three,
    leaving us a whole nation,
    and today; look at us!

    We are still here.
    We are still here.
In spite of everyone and everything.
In spite of everyone and everything.
In spite of everyone and everything.
    We are still here.
    We are still here.
In spite of everyone and everything.
In spite of everyone and everything.
In spite of everyone and everything.
    We are still here.

Let the wind blow from the East,
let the storm roar from the sea.
Let the lightning split the heavens,
    and the thunder shout "encore!"
Let the tears of the faint-hearted flow,
and the servile lick the floor.
Despite the blackness all around us,
we are ready for the breaking of the dawn!

    We remember the Emperor Macsen,
left our country in one whole piece.
And we shall shout before the nations,
"We'll be here until Judgement Day!"
    Despite every Dic Siรดn Dafydd,
despite old Maggie and her crew,
we'll be here until the end of time,
and the Welsh language will be alive!

  18. Was that sweat….or tears, running down the face of Dafydd towards the end? The pride he must've felt hearing the whole stadium singing………I'd bet my house on it, being tears!! Cymru am Byth!!

  19. Our creatures, our wildlife habitat, our meadows, our forests cannot sustain this 'invasion' any longer. 500,000 in ONE year. How many meadows and woods is that to make space for high breeders?

Without concern for the land and the creatures whose ancestors we have shared this island, these islands, with, there is no right to consider oneself BRITISH.

    amen.

  20. Part of my role as the vanguard of the liberation is to inform and/or remind those who think they are English how British they are.

On Tuesday 29th November the serpent the enemy call Satan which is our symbol of liberation shall fly above the land of the Cornovii.

We have a short time to ….

    Cymry = Fungi

One Body, one Spirit, One Soul. We will continue to bounce this of each other until those who think they are English understand WHY saving the King is important.

Like the candlesnuff that grows upon our graves, the Cymri will reach out from Ynysoedd Prittanica and haunt our replacements with the wind

even the 'Lord's Prayer' spoken in Aramaic is in Welsh

but who am I to suggest such a thing?

  21. What an amazing mood. the whole stadium stands and sings this great song full of passion and pride. Sport and music bring people together. What a great moment. This is how football should always be. People singing and celebrating arm in arm together. That gives me goosebumps. Props to the Welsh crowd ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ.
