Ter stegen (and apparently Franky too) contract is more than just worrisome if true. It's Bartomeu 2.0 all over again. even if later you would like to sell and get rid of the wages who would take a 33+ years old goaly with an excessive salary.
Crazy if true and this should not just pass under the rug , this kind of actions are what screwed the club to our actual crisis and we can't and should not let it happen again
Lewa can not be in the first eleven. I would prefer Ferran in the center, Ansu on the left and Jamal on the right.

I dont understand this Ter Stegan contract. WTH! Renewing until he is 36! He can be done way before that. Not all GK are Buffon who play till 40s. If Stegan falls off he can still just sit in bench and get more wage in later years due to deffered salary. I hope this doesnt turn into suicide bomb. Same probably happen with FDJ. None of these players want to help club in financial term.

Ferran deserves to get a chance at the 9, lewa has been poor, and I would much rather see ferran down the middle rather than on the right. Ansu has to start. I would give the start to yamal purely because I feel like this front 3 is fluid and I like what I saw from each together in preseason. I would push Kounde to the right because I would much rather start eric than roberto at this moment in time. Lets get these three points! FORCA BARCA

If Ter Stegen and Frenkie De Jong has problems with the club in the future no one is bigger than the club. So we will see what will happen in the future. The Bartomeu era of over paid players is over.

Cut ter stegen? Pay the man. Most consistent goalie Barca has ever had. Maybe this "problems" go away if we stop spending that money and invest in the academy for two years. Save that money

I know many fans and you don't agree with me but Barca's weakest area is the forward line. The Board and Xavi working on removing Fati and bringing Felix makes me sick. I don't get Barca these days, how can Xavi play 4 midfielders in this static style call himself a tactician. The starting 11 is poorly selected and doesn't compete with the elite European teams, look how they perform domestically. You may think a RB will solve many things but remember that it is the front line which has been so poor after Neymar left,. See u in the group stages of the Champions league.

I don't think Ter Stegen deal is problematic, with him deferring his salaries and getting an increase in the final 3 years of the contract. Barca's financial disaster has entered its 3rd year now, so if they cannot get their act together in another two years before the increase kicks in, that will speak volumes about the club's leadership and their policies and ability to lead the club. Barca is a giant and needs to be innovative in finding new markets, engaging fans, creating content and generating money at the end of the day, because is has all of the necessary groundworks to do so. Bartomeu is at fault for what he has done and needs to go to jail for that, but he cannot be the excuse and the bailout card forever.
On the contract deals with FDJ and ATS, these are very different to what we saw under Barto. The problem the club faces is the fact that the Barto deals would have seen these two players' earnings balloon in their last two years (this and the next). Off the top of my head, Frenkie was to earn something like 12 M in almost automatic bonuses alone in his last year, 40 M in all.
These new deals restructure salaries, deflate the Barto balloons, but don't offer bonuses.
The club is looking at a lean 18 months with the move to Montjuich, which will hit and match day and merchandising. All the forecasts are for a steep rise in revenue after the return to the new Nou Camp (or Nou Camp Nou). So there's sound business reasoning behind weighting the contracts towards the final years to generate FFP now.
Against Cadiz, I wouldn't play Gundogan or Romeo from the start. For me Gavi, FDJ and Pedri in midfield. Fati, Lewa and Ferran upfront. We need speed and wider play.

Cancelo is a brilliant signing for us as he is capable of playing both at RB and LB and is arguably the best in his position. We should ideally be looking to move on Alonso and bring in Ivan fresneda as he is player with immense potential and Alonso does not provide confidence as a backup LB (also very high wages). We should also look to some players from athleti team like Fermin lopez, angel alarcon, Marc casado, lamin yamal and aleix garrido who should be given chances in some cup games as they have huge potential and can provide much needed support and rest to some first team players given the tight schedules. Fresneda is a must buy in my opinion and selling alonso in that respect will give much needed FFP margin and also the transfer fee for fresneda deal.
I still don't know why Ansu is not starting ahead of ferran , ferran Torres is still not a Barca blood player, the guy is NOT clinical, he as a winger just can't find a lewandowski connection, always looking to impress and keeps on misfiring, how come did we not sign NEYMAR or Messi , and not offloading this guys
