Hate how Adams starts with his terrible passing. Turnover rate is disappointing
He wasn't good but I don't see anyone to really replace him this late in the cycle.
Remind me why Busio isn't getting a look anymore?
What BS ! So if any American gets more than 3 ppl challenge them during play they are being bullied ! He needs to dry his eyes princess!
Luca de la Torre dented his hopes and Aaron Long didn't?
How can you say he disappointed when the center backs kept giving the ball to LDT with like 3 guys around him. It started with the center backs.
It's easy to forget sometimes how young this bunch are. Can they learn and adapt? Time will tell.
LDT was receiving the ball in bad spots, thanks to Zimmerman and Long. Gotta blame those guys first.
Everyone played poorly. Luca was no better or worse than anyone else. But when Christian returns, Luca is on the bench. Hate to say it b/c Luca brings a lot to the pitch.
If that is the case so did Zimmerman,Long, Morris, Cannon and Ferreira
Never even heard of this guy 😂
These two literally know nothing about player analysis….idk how ppl give them these jobs
look at japan squad, they’re all starters for champions league and europa league. endo is what the us thought tyler adams was, the best ball winner in bundesliga. talent wise players for players japan is superior. brazil only beat them with a penalty previous match. give them the respect.
Knew that if Gregg forced his non-ball playing CBs, that the media would find a way to blame the midfield who have to play 3 positions to cover up their liabilities
Who looked good?
Is he related to Diego “Gambeta” La Torre?
Put the work in and show the multiple clips of him getting bullied or being "slow" on the ball.
The midfielders were to afraid to pass it back to the center backs because lack of talent back there. So they tried to make somthing happen
The fact that we are still talking about player pool options this close to the start of the World Cup is all you need to know about the state of the National Team..
Sure, there's usually one or two positions that will be undecided until the end but this is just ridiculous..
Players are given big minutes for seemingly no reason whatsoever..
Why was Sam Vines called into camp THIS LATE in the Cup cycle. You couldn't call that guy in for the last few cycles?
Why is there still questions about who starts on the wing when you've potentially had a reasonably healthy first choice lineup through LARGE CHUNKS of qualifying?
The Coaching staff has fielded what is presumably the first choice USMNT starting lineup ONCE maybe TWICE in 4 YEARS..
Where's the "Soccer Media" who have witnessed and participated in MANY WORLD CUP CYCLESto question any of this??
Some really strange things going on with this Federation..
Pretty lucky that Mexico is in a down cycle and Panama and Costa Rica rebuilding
Mess
De La Torre is a fantastic player, he has performed well, I’m sure it was just a bad game, but from what I hear the entire team had a bad game except for Matt Turner
Dude is not a quick thinker and slow as as syrup!! 😂
Japan is just a world class team and they exposed the US for what they are: not a world class team.
Dent his hope for who?! Roldan??? Yeah maybe because it’s GGG
LDT fans got really carried away this summer. I heard people saying he’s our best midfielder and should be ahead of Musah. I like the guy but he’s not a starting caliber player. He should be a guy who come in at the 78th minute
Frankly I thought the entire team played poorly, and most of that I lay at Berhalter's feet. How can you play a team, KNOWING their tactics, and NOT have a tactical counter-plan and a back-up to that plan??!!!! How can you play Tyler without a slick, smooth passer next to him as a compliment to his skill set?? He is NOT a "Regista" FFS! How can you NOT play Sargent, who is the most well-rounded, tactically sound striker?? Berhalter MUST Be fired, but it is unfortunate that it will require a poor World Cup to do so. Horrible. The US could have hired SOOO many other great coaches with tons of experience, and they hired Berhalter. inexperienced.
Zimmerman and Long shouldn’t even be in the roster
Well despite lacking match sharpness Luca did well on his passing Japan did well tactically but its just I was expecting Gregg to be insecure on his lineup now kudos to Japan to be punched on his face if Gregg didn't changed the scenery USMNT out of the group stage USA can keep up with Japan but again the coach of Japan tactically outcoached Gregg because Gregg this game is thinking too much defensively
He doesn't play, & he plays for Celta Vigo, a nothing team in La Liga's heirarchy, his poor performance against a Japan team that is better than us didn't surprise me.
Honesty I don’t know why Americans are hyping up these players? They going to get spanked by England and wales and even Iran have good players as well so I won’t be surprised if USA loses all three of their games
If your names not matt turner your stock is down, dont just pick on LDLT
