Without doubt Gundo is a legend at City. What he did for the team especially when the team needed someone to step up and save them he did it exceptionally.
I just hope they don't try and sign Bruno as I think he is one of the best number 8s in the league even though he played last season as a 6. Look at him after he signed last season( season before the one that's just finished), he played as an 8 then and Shelvey was the 6. He is better further forward. I think we will play with a double pivot this season though with him and Tonali so at least he will be able to spend more time further forward.

Arsenal transfer news: Ilkay Gundogan has turned down a move to Arsenal in favour of Barcelona, with his contract at Manchester City expiring this month
Legend and City don't go together.
Yes we will miss Gundogan? However we have lost and replaced and moved on and continued to win trophies after David Silva, Kun Aguero, Vinny Kompany, Yaya Toure, Tevez, and honestly a few more fantastic players. So we will be carrying on winning trophies next season without Gundogan. We all wish Ilkay the very best fortune in the future, and we thank him for everything that he did for our fantastic club. (Except when he plays against City in the future)

Everybody throwing around this legend status on Gundogan all of sudden. Its more than just being there for 7yrs. If we are being frank and remove the factor of recency bias we would refrain from saying he's a legend and up there with the likes of Kun Hart Zabaleta Kompany David Silva and Yaya. Gundo have really turned up for the club in the last 3yrs. His previous years he was no better than another squad player. Not on the fringes but if he was injured City didnt miss him much. So for me i dont buy this legendary status thing. He's easier to replace than the other guys mentioned who have that legendary status. It just not the same.

As a United fan he's One of the few City players i have total respect for.
It was in the conversation at the end of last season but after how he's spearheaded City to the treble this season, defo for sure.
Gundogan is a City legend in the same vein as the likes of Aguero, Toure, Kompany, Silva and Fernandinho, an absolute class player all round that was a true joy to watch.
