  1. I do think Norwich can take points off Arsenal. They always have a terrible start to their season, and pick up momentum about 12 games in.

  2. Don't know how you two can be contented with a 3-0 defeat .We were nowhere near good enough to get anything against Liverpool and they were not at there very best .We need to be a lot better and stop kep kidding ourselves that average and just above average performances will be good enough to win games in this league.

  3. Remember last season you thought Jordan Hugill would start ahead of Pukki? Guy has scored north of 60 goals in three seasons. You'd think that would earn him some respect but apparently not

  4. norich was not bad but the plan was not smart because when you play liverpool or man city do not forget they need only one chance to finish the match !

  5. To the Norwich fans i understand the hype for Sargent I’m a usmnt fan but I would say be patient I wouldn’t expect more then 7 goals from the kid I just home those goals are winners he’s still growing and he struggled this summer for the usmnt but he’s a hell of a defender for a striker and ya will have to defend a lot lol

  6. Ha.. Budweiser sucks so much. I feel like we don't even drink it here. So sorry for the u.s. brand sh*t show.
    Try our craft beer sometime.
You guys started well. Sargent is most likely going to play next to Pukki. At least that's what I would do. Terrorize the back line. Sargent – Pukki-Cantwell

  7. I just can’t fathom Farke deciding at only 0-1 down with a raucous crowd in the first match back in 18 months, ‘No, I’m not going to go for it,’ and not subbing anyone on as Liverpool bring on the fresh legs of Fabinho and Firmino. That mindset is unacceptable and will have Norwich dropping back down without even a fight.

  8. TBF I FEEL SORRY FOR PUKKI
ITS LIKE TAKING A CANDY FROM A BABY
HE HAS LOST HIS CANDY IN BUENDIA
1/3 OF PUKKI GOALS LAST SEASON WAS FROM BUENDIA AND THE RUNS HE TRY TO MAKE WASN'T MATCHED WITH THE THROUGH BALLS
HE DID LOOK FUSTRATED AT TIMES
WE WON'T SEE THE BEST OF HIM

  9. I'm with Jack on his defensive analysis. The belief that we are just going to outscore teams in the 'Other 14' is almost deluded. Liverpool is an 'elite' side, as Shearer pointed out, and we've had a rough pre-season, but there is a sense of familiarity to our last Prem season. Oft repeated but this is fundamental: a tough, energetic defensive midfielder and a centreback are needed for survival. Plus wise up in defence – those goals weren't just unlucky.

  10. Some genuinely laugh out loud moments today as I listened to this doing the gardening. I was slightly sweaty and yanking on a weedy bush when the phrase ‘tickling Farkes Bear’ was mentioned. It broke me. It also struck me as an amazing Mascot idea.

  11. On reflection, did he leave them on knowing they need more match fitness. Acknowledged the game was gone so gave more minutes in the legs? Painful for first game but maybe help in the long run?

  12. I think I might follow Norwich quite a bit this year. I’m kind of invested with Sam being a long lost relative, Sargeant being American, and Billy Gilmore being out on loan since I am a Chelsea fan. Hearing you guys talk about your club and your match day experience was hilarious. Good luck this season!

  13. A 3-0 home defeat is disappointing but easier to accept when the opponent is Liverpool rather than Southampton, Crystal Palace or Brighton.

  14. As a member of the Sargent Squad (AKA an American) I must say you guys are hilarious, informative and fair-minded in your respective analyses. I'm looking forward to being a Norwich supporter for greater than or equal to one season

  15. I want a pint of what these guys who talk about Pukki being past it are drinking. Yes he's not 100% fit yet but he's proven given the right service. Yes Sargent could be a good shout against Man City but don't write off Pukki yet, he will come good. Even 10 goals I believe in a struggling side last time in the top flight. I guess those who write him off never played football at any decent level themselves!

  16. I look forward to following Norwich..It wasn’t easy to follow Sargent last year, though I did see several games..You’ll like him I think..He is vying for USA’s top striker position and I think he will win that role with the national team..I’m sure your manager will find a way to use Sargent..For now, just get some points from the next three matches..I do agree that those games will make for good training..Good luck from across the pond..
