Its easy for these people to sit there and say don't do this because of XYZ. But believe me Darren Bent would of signed that contract with the security of his family financially for the rest of his life and his children and grand children's life all secured. I don't like it when they argue why people shouldn't do things, when they have not been in the same position.

interestingly, I asked a Liverpool fan recently about a choice between playing for a Saudi Club for Β£100K per week or to play for Liverpool for Β£20K per week yet he still decided to prefer to play for Liverpool even at a significantly less wage which you've got to respect.
Of course he went for the money and then to blame klopp for not wanting him that's an absolute disgrace and a massive cop out

Hendo knew that had he stayed he would have got very little playing time at Liverpool, which probably would have meant getting his wages cut. And, he still wants to play regularly and that includes playing a part in the England team. If another sports program/TV/radio company offered Darren and Andy two or three times what Talksport paid them, how many of you think they would turn the offer down? Hendo can set the next generations of his family up for life and I wish him all the best.

Were I more cynical, I might suggest that in light of more stringent rules about to come into the English game r.e. niggles, fouls, confronting refs, and lambasting or fighting other players, LFC were keen to wash their hands and make the by-now rather prehistorically shouty and aggressive Henderson someone else's problem.

The saddest part about all this for me is that there are many closeted bisexual & gay mens' footballers or staff, some undoubtedly known personally to Hendo as friends, teammates & colleagues. What messages do Jordan's words and actions in recent days send to them? That their safety and equality and friendship don't actually matter to him? Easy to see why Grealish isn't talking to him anymore…

We, as Saudis, respect talent and treat them well. They deserve it and we pay money for them, but some of the European clubs that we will soon crush in football must respect the players and not treat them like puppets, buy them and drain all their years and experience and then throw them over the wall. Look at the fools. How do they treat Vinicius Junior? He must come to our league to live the life of creatives and live a life free of foolish European racism.

I wish we were as critical about the choices world leaders make when they go to bed with human rights violators every day. Now we are going to put that weight on a footballer ? What is this false claim? Who told you that if you are gay you cannot attend the Saudi League? This is a lie. You can attend, but it is forbidden for you to act by declaring gay slogans or wearing gay clothing in front of people because they will cut you into small pieces. The law or the state will not be able to rid you of their hands. The problem that you do not know about Arabs is that their morals are more important than their children, their lives, and your money, but act normally and be gay in your home. No one has anything to do with you, and no one will attack you.
