  1. Dude , soccer is still like the 5th or 6th most popular sport in the U.S. Football season just started , ain’t no one care about the US vs Uzbekistan in a friendly lol

  2. As long as he’s the coach and this is the style of play, I have no interest in continuing to spend my time or give my support to that federation.
There are so many other things I can get my entertainment and excitement from.
    Bring on Messi.

  3. Still nothing on the MLS drama? For those curious, apparently, Arena said Williams would not be retained next season behind closed doors and later Williams filed a complaint about it. The locker room and relationships since has been toxic and miserable. Looks like the club decided to nearly clear house with managers that is.

  4. Berhalter’s return is an assured sign of USSF’s unwavering commitment to bone crushing mediocrity, mismanagement, and their desire to claw their way, kicking and screaming, to the middle. What an enormous disappointment. Get rid of him NOW.

  5. It's not just a vocal minority. Nearly every US fan has severe Berhalter fatigue. Get him out while we have time to develop for the home WC. His continued occupation of the HC role is a perpetuating disgrace, it goes against all good sense and good taste and it needs to end asap. This generation of players is too valuable and talented to be stunted by this coach.

  6. Berhalter has nothing more to offer the USMNT. His tactics suck, his player selection sucks and his inability to go shelve his ego to build a better team.

  7. Unbelievable we brought Berhalter back. We get stomped in world cup by Netherlands, scored how many goals in 4 games? & you bring him back? We have so much talent & it's sad, nothing will change until the people above Berhalter change

  8. Our last match before Berhalter was exhilarating. It was one of the most fun matches to watch. My favorite player? Gio Reyna shined before he got injured. I was pretty neutral on Berhalter but not anymore. The win against Oman wasn’t convincing until the last 25 minutes …

  9. It kills me that these guys routinely put on the best soccer show in the country and ESPN barely has any of the games anymore. Wish Herc and Sal could be doing pre- and post-game coverage for national team games and MLS games, or that the people covering those games were at least trying to raise their game, but it seems both those organizations are more interested in having some bland informercial-style coverage instead of something as watchable as this.

  10. The price of ⚽ in the US is ridiculous… The team isn't relatable in ANY WAY… It just feels like a bunch of politics and a cash grab. No one wants to feel like a Mark.

  11. Berhalter sucks, period. And the fact that USSF rehired him, makes them suck too. Unbelievable we rehired a mediocre lifer coach who has ostracized multiple players, and has baggage.

  12. US is going to the wrong cities. Charlotte, NC would sell out. Biggest soccer city in the US that no one pays attention to. Even their MLS team gets consistent crowd of 40-50k and that team is terrible!

  13. Bringing back Gregg Berhalter was the worst possible thing the federation coulda done. Its absolutely ridiculous that he is the USMNT manager. Talk about a buzzkill. Berhalter is the epitome of mediocrity. Its painfully obvious he is not the one. Hopefully, the players can succeed despite him. As a fan I am totally deflated. I will still root for the team but Berhalter has taken all the excitement out of it.

  14. Boos for GB are simple, no one wanted him back. He did his job and got us to the world cup and out of groups but that is his ceiling. Why bring back someone back with a limited future. I don't care if money was an issue to bring on another manager, figure it out. We host the next world cup, huge opportunity for a coach and a team and hiring GB limits our growth!

  15. Likely highlights how many Americans are still preoccupied with other sports. NFL season just started last weekend. As for Mexico, there are tons of recent Mexican immigrants in the US. Soccer is number 1 for them. That's the difference.
