Southgate is so shite 🤦🏻♂️ So you are being payed millions to pick players who are already playing in their positions. So u r so tacticaly shallow that you can’t experiment or improvise and use abilities that you see on training ground or PL matches. God. Opponent can see exactly what Southgate sees. No wonder england is not winning. Guy is screaming that he got nothing tactically and we still hoping players will come up with something on the pitch themselves 🤷🏻♂️😅

He has played centrally many times, and when he doesn’t it’s mainly because KDB is there. England don’t have a KDB. The question is can he play centrally and yes he can.
He doesn’t play there for England because he plays Rice and Henderson, if he played one DM ,Rice he could play Foden and Bellingham. He doesn’t because Souhgate isn’t brave enough and saying Pep doesn’t is a get out for him.

I totally agree with you ste regarding southgate and his snideness. He seems to have issues with foden as this isnt the first time hes made snide comments about him. His comments about playing there for club go out the window for me when your choosing to play henderson whos gone to a league the stadard of league 1. Also given hes played trent in midfield trippier at right back maddison at left wing and maguire who doesnt even play at all contradicts his comment over all…. The sooner he goes the better…
My question is why do we even have to have 2 defensive players in there whilst jude is a box 2 box. Is it that declan rice needs someone to hold his hand. Im more understanding of it if it was a game against france or some harder nation not ukraine ect. Even more so when his chosen midfield were at fault for ukraines goal…. He needs to go now.

Harry Maguire doesn't play at all for his club except when there's a defensive emergency of injuries but Southgate still picks him, so his Foden analagy doesn't stack up!

Foden doesn't play centrally because he plays on the best team in the world. Also he often plays on the wing because we don't have wingers and we need Foden's talent on the pitch.

I’m actually selfishly glad he isn’t being played. I worry about injuries during international breaks and Phil not being a key player for Southgate means he is fit and still able to be a key player for City.
