in the last 4 season in the premier league Mount has only managed a total of 4 assists coming against arsenal+ tottenham and 1 goal against Liverpool….. not impressive against top teams ….He stat pads against weak teams.

Todd is fucking Chelsea up. Mount got 15 goals 16 assists in all comps last season (2 in preseason), 9 goals 8 assists in 2020/2021, 8 goals 5 assists in 2019/2020, first player since Hazard to get double figure goals and assists in the PL, 1 of 5 Chelsea players to get double goals and assists in a PL season, player of the year twice, short listed for the Ballon Dor top 30 players in Europe, helped us lift major trophies including Champions League, always plays for the badge, is yet to hit his prime, has Chelsea DNA, has been at Chelsea 18 years, is the perfect Poch system player, he runs, presses, tackles, works hard, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool all want him, seriously, whats not to like about Mount? The grass is not always greener. Who else in this team will get us those numbers?
Mount wants more money than he is worth and he will join a rival if not?

This is exactly what Chelsea need. A proper shake up of the players. Selling Mount and Kovacic will be a real message of 'Get your heads back in the game or else' to the rest of the players.
People saying give Mount the money clearly would bankrupt any business they may run. He is NOT worth anywhere near the 300k. He is clearly not happy at Chelsea. They offered 200k I gaurantee you he will sign for United on something stupid like 225k. He has shown his true colour. He clearly wants out. I doubt he was even injured, probably huffing. He will have a great 1st season with United. The back to being Mount again the following. Again reinforcing he downed tools this season. His daddy needs to shut it as well.
Remember he owes Chelsea everything. Not the other way around. Players need to remember this at their perspective clubs.
To replace a player of mount’s quality youre looking at anywhere between £40-70m anyway so you sell him for 55-60, youre gonna have to spend that on a replacement, not to mention agent fees etc. then you’ve got the problem of does the replacement fit in. Trying to be cheap often ends up costing you more in the long run. Just give him a contract
Mount isn’t the greatest player in the world BUT what he is is Chelsea through and through, he can press, he scores a few goals, good set piece taker. He seems like a good kid who gets on with people. I think he’s a big loss for Chelsea and if he does end up at United he will become a big asset for them.
Why is no one talking about how much Sterling is on, 325k a week and he’s been absolutely hopeless in a Chelsea shirt but Mount who’s put in almost 200 appearances for the club wants some sort of parity and he’s shown the door?
So Mount isn’t worth 250k a week yet that’s what Man United are willing to give him, so he IS worth it then…
