Itโs not about man management, itโs not about motivation.
Stop making it like the players donโt want to win, and they need โmotivationโ. They are grown men, how much man management do you need?
Itโs about tactics.
If you preferred to hire an English manager. Then Wilshere would probably be the best option.
Wilshere is working under Arteta. He would have learned the sophisticated tactics that passed on from Cruyff to Pep and Arteta through La Masia.
Arteta and Fabregas (who is getting his coaching badge at Arsenal) are both La Masia graduates.
And also, they are both Spanish midfielders, so they read the game in a more detailed way.
One of them worked with Pep in management, and one of them played under Pep. So they will have the knowledge to play a modern microscopic complex sophisticated chess like system.
Wilshere is probably the only Englishman who has the access to such advanced knowledge.

arteta helped foster this culture by getting rid of the deadwood and toxic players, managers cant be subserviant to the players

Just about the silliest statement I hear from players but more so pundits is โhe enjoys his footballโ MILLIONS of people would enjoy their football if they were professional footballers and in the case of Saka heโs at a top club, an England international and he makes millions of pounds a year at 21 I can assure you I would bloody well โenjoy my football โ too!
A close second is โheโs never let such and such downโ Ie Mcguire Anyone watching him play will refute that (France QF World Cup for example) he HAS let England down and players arenโt supposed to play based on โnot letting anyone downโ They arenโt SUPPOSED TO FFS
