  1. Where is the narrative of Arsenal destroying Palace coming from? It was 2 shots on target and 2 goals, 1 was an og, palace had more of the ball and more passes.
I believe Saliba was motm due to how much we defended the second half, let's not rewrite history, there were some ropey performances at the start of last season, we just managed to win, like Fulham at home

  2. So glad you are back!! Glad you had a great holiday!!! Matt Turner still trying to pick Saka’s shot out of the net lol!! World class!! Unbelievable Jeff!!! 😂

  3. Glad you're back Charles. Regarding Keepers; why do teams have to have a first & second choice Keeper? Why can't Ramsdale & Raya rotate like most players in other positions. I understand most teams don't because of giving the keeper confidence and stability. I just wonder why they couldn't alternate games (not just 1 playing in Premiership & Champions League & the other in F.A Cup & League Cup). That way we have a perfect sub waiting to come on if 1 of them gets injured. Both are excellent Keepers so lets keep and use both of them.

  4. I think you have to be honest here and I know how much a fan of Arteta you are but the selections were ridiculous and we were fortunate that Forest did not bury their sitter early chance. You cannot pick Partey as a full back – was a nonsens no Gabriel Tierney not even in the squad, Trossard again not picked. It's arrogance of a high level and AGAIN we will get punished for this kind of thing against better sides than Forest. He does have so many options but clearly does not know what to do with them… As for Havertz? I won't even go there, especially when an elite striker would bring the icing on the cake

  5. I think somehow we have to be able to penetrate through the center of the park as it seems like we get closed down on the wings. Otherwise we are too predictable.

  6. Here in Adelaide I watched the game after the fantastic Matilda’s v France match .Went off to bed 20 minutes from the end as I found Arsenal to be so negative and positively boring- not surprised when I found out we’d conceded. Was Arteta actually experimenting his defensive structure during v a PL game ?

  7. Hi Charles, Welcome Back!
Have you watched the BACK HOME documentary? what are your thoughts? I thought it was awesome, its always great to see the behind the scenes, this makes me love Arsenal even more. Im looking forward to the documentary when we win the league! So far the two that are out have had a sad ending unfortunately

  8. Letting goals in at home was our problem all last season? 14 wins at home Charles, only 2 losses. Don't re-write history because of one or two games at the end of last season (Southampton and Bournemouth)

  9. I've been looking at our current squad – it's looking really good..

    Both GKs really good.

If Saliba or Gab get injured, we have Timber & Kiwior.

If White gets injured, we have Tomiyasu.

If Partey gets injured, we have Jorginho or Elneny.

If Rice gets injured, we have Zin & many CMs.

If Ode gets injured, we have Havertz, Emile or Viera.

If Martinelli gets injured, we have Trossard

If Saka gets injured, we have Nelson – this is a weak link.

If Jesus gets injured, hv Nketiah and Reiss – this is a weak link.

Not sure why we're still looking at midfielders when we should be looking at RWs and CFs.

  10. Nketiah has a great attitude & did OK but he is not a starting striker for a side hoping to fight for the title – that's the cold hard truth…

  11. I think that we were very very impressive for 80 minutes tbh, and even not too terrible for the rest, although still room to improve there of course.
