There's a video message from Al Shahrani on Al Arabiya (English version), saying he's doing okay. He had a broken jaw, other broken facial bones (from the collision with the goal keeper's left knee), and his pancreas was also operated on (due to bleeding from the collision with the keeper's right knee). Hope he has a speedy recovery and that the goal keeper doesn't feel too bad, it was just a terrible accident.
update: he was brought to germany to treat his internal bleeding. yesterday he was brought to riyadh to undergo surgery for his pancreas (meaning his injury was bad enough to affect his pancreas) . so far he is in a stable condition and we hope he has a speedy recovery!
p.s. the other player who injured his leg ended up having a torn muscle btw which may have affect his knee as well.

What sucked was that the ref didnโt stop the match and left him to rot. ๐ I think the ref should be fired. Tbh. He clearly saw the guy fall and break his neck and continued play as if nothing happened.
