Finally! An American with ball knowledge
There are no excuses for the 2024 Euro
England have all the talent in the world and the only team that comes close is France
Kane, Foden, Saka, Grealish, Mount, Rashford, Rice, Bellingham, Walker, Ramsdale, Pickford
Even Maguire is good for England
they need English players, but not an English manager 😭💀
Golden era? When? Now? …Southgate is rubbish though
So many Southgate’s decisions make no sense. Not playing Rashford in the World Cup, not even taking tomori. His obsession w maguire. Too many to name😂😂😂
England has always had talent. Wtf are you on about, and managers have always been the issue.
Zidane could win it for england
What like Capello?? Or Eriksson? We've had all of the fancy managers our manager is doing a great job I've experienced more in the Southgate Era than I thought I'd ever experience as an England fan only one team can win a tournament
Completely agree
Not really a golden era ahhaha when Rooney beckham gerrard lampard that was the golden era which didn’t achieve nothing
Steve Cooper would be perfect
I believe some of Gareth Southgates' squad selections are about superstitions now, more than actual quality and playing time of players. He must be taking Maguire as a lucky charm as it can't be for any of the above 😅
😂😂 English golden era? When did this guy start watching football in 2020?
Pep took almost 8 years and spent billions to win champions league with Manchester city. He won't win anything with England.
Is the Kate Henry Jamie and Micah group gone
Sassy, but ok
Get David Beckham 😊
Pep made south gates life so much harder 😂
Probably the best analysis of him. A top draw coach would get this team winning trophies.
Problem with Southgate in the vital games like France for instance aswell as Italy we don't go all out and take risks i believe in the players and if we go from defensive to all out attack we will have results because we allways fall short because he dont want to change the style to adapt in games
England play well, very well. They’re consistently in the top 4 or 3 European teams. They could win the Euro (without McGuire) if they start playing as though their lives (not their careers) depended on it. Of course, there’s also the small matter that no one (least of all Scotland and Wales) wants them to win anything ever again (the 66 WC was gift enough), but even that they could surmount with style, panache, and United team spirit. In other words, they’re leaving it on the table instead of leaving it all on the pitch.
He literally got them to a Final. They lost because the players sadly lost on penalties, what he has done in these few short years is nothing short of remarkable. Yes we want to win a trophy but it has to be a very careful consideration if we are to let him go
Stop helping lol. I’m tryna see the maguire show in person for the 2026 wc
No lies detected. With all the great players they have now they should be winning and I’m not even British, but it’s just a fact
Of course he can win something, people forget this the man that got Middlesbrough relegated after spending millions on alfonso Alves.
Imagine getting your soccer info news from an American ⚽🤡
England did very poorly with a lot of golden eras in more than 25 years, Gareth Southgate made it the exception
No foreign man should ever be in charge of England
