so basically most things we need will need to be developed.. dont get me wrong, im. happy enough with johnson but we absolutely need another quality CB (not kelly) and a ST ..ill reserve judgement untill 11pm but im worried af that our defence is gonna be so thin and we will have no serious competition for the toothless richy.
I love Kulu but he needs to bin normal training off, if he could cross with his right confidently it would allow him to take on more people, but everyone knows he needs to cut on his left for any type of cross.
Underwhelming comes to mind…..what happened to Orban? I’d have taken defensive or midfield cover over an incomplete striker.
The subtext is that Forest are rubbing their hands together over the stupid sum of money we’ve given them, which is more than enough for an upgrade. Reminds me of Ryan Sessegnon – that was £20m we’ll never get back again.

As a forest fan I think he’ll be a great signing for spurs. I know you all wanted a striker but Johnson will deliver more the Kulu, Son and Richarlison in G/A by the end of the season

I do think Forest belong in the EPL. I'm glad to see them back in the EPL.
Johnson has been a great servant to the club. He is a decent player that just might make it. However he is very light weight and gives the ball away a lot. Also can seem completely lost in some games, But when he is on it he can be really on it and will bag a few goals. think its 50/50 on if he will turn into a truly amazing player or will end up going out on loan to someone next season.
Remember Forest fans waxing lyracle about Djed Spence…. I mean they arent a level forest, if this guy was so good people outside forest would know about it. for that money he should already bea. serious serious player. 60 mil for richie and 50 for this guys seems crazy money

Great vid. Nice to hear from a Forest fan. He sounds perfect for Ange which is no surprise. Ange is great at spotting talent or listening to his defenders to know who they complain about the most. Ange said his team complaining about Kyogo is why he knew he was so good. Can't head, not a big problem. His role will be to defend when CB's go into the box on corners. Spurs having the two fastest players in the EPL might be little bit advantageous.

Ange wanted Johnson, he knows his system and style of play, so regardless of what we think, I trust his judgement. If it doesn't work out he is young enough to get a decent fee back. He sounds similar to Harvey Barnes or Anthony Gordon, they were signed for similar fees, so it's the going rate

Like most, I didn't know much about Brennan Johnson until we were going to sign him. After watching a few highlight reels, wow, he looks very good and he's only young. he can play anywhere along the front line, has great accelaration and pace and takes his chances well. He would be an ideal super sub to help us get goals when we need to, but he is good enough to get a starting place and push out Richy, Manor or Kulu.
Brennan Johnson is a poor man version of Aaron Lennon.
