  1. Selling connor would be a dumb decision because we do not have midfield depth. Lavia is not yet fully fit and the only midfielders we have are Enzo, caicedo, ugo and connor and so unless we play a 4-2-3-1, we cannot risk it. We still need at least 2 midfielders unless Poch gets from academy

  2. By playing Conner for every game since pre-season & Making him captain in the last game Potch has made it clear he is in his plans, which should be the most important factor, not to meation his performances have got better & better. Understand the "pure profit" attraction but dont see the logic when some of the replacement targets are similar to what we have already. Still scratching my head why Cucurella was played messing up the M.Utd .loan….Bizarre. Glad Ian Maatsen wants to stay(at time of writing as you never know).
Cheers for the update Yan bet your glad it's the end of the window 😎👍.

Now time to work on on the pitch stuff,
    UpTheChels!!.

  3. Gallagher has to stay there's a lot of parallel's between him a Lampard. Lampard was an English kid with average skills but a very high ceiling for improvement, willing to work like a dog in training to reach that high ceiling in the squad when Abramovich heavily invested. Gallagher is a English kid with average all round skills, extremely hard working both in games and training and a very high ceiling for potential improvement at a time of major investment. Like Lampard in the next 3 years he could become one of our most important players. Both also had a manger willing to guide that improvement with game time and challenging him to improve in specific areas

  4. Its good Conor stays, we need that Chelsea blood in the club.
He's been working hard and shown alot of heart.
He could be a rolemodel for other newcomers i'm sure, just like James.

  5. Gallagher for the captions armband,, Chelsea should not be a breeding ground for the money grabbing owners, selling off all the Cobham graduates for clear profit,, and buying other unproven players who they hope to sell again in a few seasons for more millions in profit,, These owners are parasites

  6. Honestly, this Maatsen being sold because of Man U pulling out of the Cucurella deal is the most ridiculous scenario I've seen in professional sports. Whoever thought they had to cup tie Cucurella is an absolute idiot

  7. I never thought that I would be this happy about Gallagher staying but here we are. Really glad.

If Sarr doesn't leave then using him in cup games can't hurt. Open to him staying in general if he's not on big wages and happy with a squad role.

I'm fine with Chalobah leaving at this point. Personally I would have also accepted a loan but with the amount of CBs we have I can totally understand why we are trying to sell.

Deivid Washington staying is fine since Burstow is gone but there literally isn't a player in our squad that has me less excited than this guy (except Malang Sarr). His highlight compilations look really average or sometimes even bad. Do you know how mental it is that your HIGHLIGHTS look average?
We payed £14mil for that guy while we could have gotten Marcos Leonardo for not much more.
He doesn't need to be a starter but needless to say I REALLY hope that Washington at least makes for a solid player.

  8. Gallagher has improved every game under poch so far imo😅If he can level up his passing and control his sprints/tackles he’ll be a excellent centre mid

  9. Do I think Gallagher is good enough? Probably not, but he’s versatile and he’s committed, so he should get game time. I’m glad he’s staying until January anyway, hope he could put in some performances to make retaining him a no brainier.

  10. I am so so happy that Gallager will continue to wear the blue. He works so hard that I think he inspires the other players on the pitch to bring their best efforts.

  11. In light of BluCo wanting to sell any and all academy gradutes for "pure profit" presumably, if BluCo had been the owner when JT was starting out in the 1st XI, BluCo would have cashed in.
Just a point to illustate the stupidity and short-sightedness of the policy.
Poch too is a very disappointing character.
He "says" that he values Conor G, Ian M & Trevoh C but does not stand up to BluCo when these academy grads are put up for sale.
TT was sacked for standing up to Boehly.
Poch stayed at Spurs for 5 years and presumably never stood up to Levy.
I assume he'll never stand up to BluCo.
    So disappointing 😔

  12. its not whether they want to stay Gallagher and Maatsen its whether we breach FFP and the punishments incured due wish to eventually qualify for europe and find out we have been banned

  13. As a Chelsea fan, I am proud of Boehly & Co. Achievements for which Roman also had plans but he never really executed them because of hunger & impatience of immediate success.
His achievements in just 1 year of takeover is incredible & deserves recognition across Chelsea fan base.
    Take a look :-
    1. Long term plans.
    2. Player incomings with a specific profile, potential & their development plan. Also Out goings – player released & loaned
    3. Wage bill reduction & new salary structure with base salary & performance bonus
    4. Reducing Age of the squad dramatically
    5. Well planned Management structure, personnel & system
    6. Plans of stadium expansion
    7. Culture – giving youth a chance & using academy players
    8. Buying feeder clubs – Strasbourg
    9. Establishing a recruitment system & a player development plan
    10. Establishing a scouting system
Boehly is playing Fifa Manager in real life.
