We haven't made it past the 3rd round in this competition now in 10years which is awful.
Oakley is not at the level yet to play for us and needs time away to develop meaning we need another right back to cover for laird.
Longelo should never be playing in a back 4 he looks lost off the ball.
The squad is small and the focus should be on finishing at least mid table this year in the league. If we can get a couple more defenders in we will be in a good spot, just fingers crossed that we don't pick up too many key injuries.
Two or three Blues players in that game are not up to the standard we need, and should not start games. Maybe ok to bring them on as substitutes if we are in a strong position, to give them match experience. George Hall is fragile – injured too often – his value must have dropped through the floor.

Sorry… only got 30 seconds in and the space Oakley ended up giving their man Grant was criminal. It's literally the most basic thing in the world. Second thing, make sure Grant can't pass it simply in the box for a tap in – and we give them that easily too. Half tempted to switch off already haha.

A few Blues players found out during that match. Not sure Cosgrove knew what code he was playing? Looked he was going for rugby conversions with every shot. Hope Blues can avoid serious injuries because those that need to step up don't look capable.
