  1. Hugely disappointed. Timber is massive for our club. So versatile, he allows Arteta to play various formations. I think we can cope comfortably with his absence when playing the majority of teams, but his defensive ability, along with his on the ball ability will be a huge loss when facing the likes of Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool etc. Hope he comes back stronger 💪

  2. Love seeing videos with you and Ade more often, looking forward to more videos and with the type of videos you did previously i.e top 10 strikers etc. But maybe current ones in the world/league

  3. Top 5 will be interesting this year..
    – liverpool is a shambles until they sort a atleast 2 DMs and a CB.
    – city still have a squad full of generals however with kdb injured will foden step up ? who will score crucial goals with gundogan gone ? who will have the same input as mahrez ? so on
    – chelsea looks brand new alot of young talent + potential. if the players are able to gel quick the sky’s the limit.
    – are united really progressing ? wolves took united midfield on a walk until they bring a DM to help casemiro the 2 10s with mount and bruno won’t last.
    – arsenal with a blow losing timber. he’s a CB but on the left he made it his mark. are they going to rely on nketiah for goals ? is arteta still going to be stubborn with his style of play ? will they get a RW to cover saka ? saka playing 96mins isn’t healthy and all this running will catch up to him in the latta points of the season.
    – are newcastle the real deal ? they’re in the champions league and they hve little to no depth, will this affect their ‘run’ in the premier league ? will they take the champions league serious ? starters will begin to feel fatigue and foot soreness affecting their league performances.

  4. Tomiyasu and Tierney are both more than good enough in our current team. Shut up Rory. We're fine.

The reason we had depth issues last year was losing both Tomiyasu and Saliba at once.

Kiwior also has had a chance to get up and running, he was a Jan signing that was thrown into it

  5. It is a big loss however this is time in my opinion for kiwior to show us what he’s capable of, he can play brilliantly at left back, not as good attacking as timber however he’s great defensively and has brilliant compsure so can easily play in that inverted midfielder role, much better than tierney and tomiyasu, obviously zinchenko gonna play too but the games where we need defensive solidity, kiwior is the man

  6. Tommiyasu is fantastic. God knows what these two are on about. He brings us something different; strength, and height, and stability. Just take a look at how ke kept Salah in his pocket last season in the first game. For teams that play long balls toward wingers to counter, Tommy dominates in those situations. I know Timber will be out for a while but we have a bigger squad now. Timber's injury won;t give us as hard time as last season when we had both Tommy and Saliba out and even Partey at times.

  7. No, it's a devastating blow, because Zinchenko is not as good defensively as Timber and there's no real quality cover for Saliba if Tomiyasu isn't available to slot in, or Ben White. Neither Ben White or Tomiysau are particularly good as centre backs anyway, which is why I presume Mikel has been using them as right backs since they've joined.

Timber was supposed to be the bridge between Saliba and Zinchenko, plus being able to mix things up on the right hand side for the inverted role.

Now that option is gone, Arsenal are now technically no better than they were last season.

The good news is that there's still the opportunity to go and get someone in on loan until at least January, it could have been worse and happened in the business end of the season with the window shut.

What Arsenal do between now and 31st August is going to define the rest of their season.

  8. I think people are forgetting that not too long ago, Salah had to switch wings because he couldnt get passed an inverted Tomiyasu LOL. He can play there in the meantime. Zinchenko now, is key as having him return.

Timber was that combination of Zinchenko and Tomiyasu. We will be fine this season. Arteta needs to manage the training sessions for our defenders better than last year.!

  9. That injury really stuffs up our chance. His physical presence was essential for games against top 6 teams especially City where they bullied us in that area last season. With KDB out for a while too this could get interesting.

  10. I dont really understand this take. First they say he's a RB and they'll need cover for RB now even though he played LB against Forrest and partey was RB but then say it's almost a crisis that they might not win the league even though their current defence is the one that they say probably would have won the league last year? 🤔

  11. Not even an Arsenal fan and sad I won't get to see him play.
Just hope for his sake it doesn't affect his career long term. He'll get the best treatment and aftercare, but ACL's and Achilles injuries are very difficult to come back from and be at the same level.

  12. People talk about some Arsenal players like they are the 2nd coming of Jesus. Tomyiasu, for example, gifted City the opening goal at Emirates when the game was going in Arsenal’s favour. Gabriel has also made a lot of mistakes. There are players there with a far better image than their actual quality. It will come back to bite them again.

  13. Ade is severely underrating tomiyasu. This guy was a shut down right back whos able to flex everywhere across the backline because of his two footedness

  14. i feel like arsenal needed a top centre back regardless saliba is class but now ben white has to play rb most probably they need a cb gabrial is not top top level

  15. No. They will drop out of top 4. They might even end up in the bottom half of the table. Else we Chelsea are going to win the league.

  16. We have kiwior, tomiyasu, Tierney, zinchenko, white, saliba and Gabriel…. We've got enough depth without timber but we'd be better off with him ofc

  17. I'm sorry, but you guys make money from football, and neither of you know if Tierney has left Arsenal? Come on. I have better ball knowledge than most of these you tubers who seem to do very little research.
