      The red was fair, and Virgil acted like a petulant child. Speaking to the referee as captain is one thing, but what Virg did was lose his mind and scream at the ref which, spoiler, doesn't often turn out well. We just love doing things the hard way, yeah? Up the Reds.

      VVD and TAA, the Captain and his Vice Captain were a disappointment in their conducts at NewCastle. Both showed that they lack the emotional intelligence to lead. Van Dyk with his is outburst and Trent needs to stop using holding as a defensive strategy. His focus, positioning, and weak defensive skills were obvious to all. Had he been sent packing, it would have been game over for Liverpool with 9 men. Klopp really needs to resolve the defense ASAP. The dodgy defense has been going on for too long. We should not be carried away by the win and forget about VVD and TAA's destructive plays

      He was upset in a charged up situation that ref gave us nothing some things were blatant against us yet he didn’t give anything you wonder why players get furious at times YNWA

      He’s our captain and I support him 100%, but he had better step up and act the part as captain that LFC (club and fans) deserve and need. He’s supposed to be an example to the rest of the squad! How is he supposed to calm other players when he needs too? Yes he can speak to the refs, but within the rules and being abusive is childish in his position, no way that outburst was going to help us and now we are without him for 2-3 games. We need him on the pitch not serving a ban.

      VVD reaction was what liverpool are about under Klopp, what do you expect, you're club captain following the example of the manager who carries on like a pork chop on the sideline, berating the 4th official for 90 plus minutes. Don't care if the manager is world class or the player is world class but ironically they both lack class

      Hey Greg, I really like you and what you think. It’s very similar minded to how are you. However you cannot blame van Dijk as he was in the heat of the moment and for him to see read in that moment felt so unnecessary. See you, you can’t blame him for what he did, I myself knowing how you are and how angry you get. You would have done much worse than what van Dijk did

      Not a Liverpool fan but this new expectation on players not to moan or disagree with referees is ridiculous. Red cards and wrong decisions cost these players and they're supposed to completely separate their emotions in the moment? Ridiculous.

      if he just walked off, we would all say he has no passion. Keane, Viera, Terry etc all protested reds far more aggressively and all regarded as goat captainss. Same people moan about VVD being too chill lol
