  1. Gio Reyna isnt good enough or dynamic enough to even be worried about going out of his way to Cater to!
Doesnt play for his club. Isnt the best Player on this team in the Midfield Position !
    Is always injured.
His Club Tried to transfer him and got no offers… because he isnt that good

  2. I just feel like Gregg has hit his ceiling…..we need to be pursuing the cream of the crop like top European teams are doing even Saudi Arabia got Mancini and we resort to bringing Gregg back!

  3. What happened between Berhalter and Reyna was tough, so it is only natural that it should not be that easy to patch things up between them, but I think they know they need each other, and that the best thing for the USMNT is to find a way to work together. So, I'm hopeful that that will happen in the future.

  4. We see Gareth Southgate at Premier League games all time scouting and meeting with players. So Berhalter hasn't been to a Dortmund game since the WC to watch and talk to Reyna? Get this clown out of here!

  5. The US loves a reality show. I'll say it again, they should have hired Viera. Would be the last you ever hear of the Reynas circus!

  6. Imagine a time when someone might pick up a phone and have a conversation to clear the air. What could go wrong when your potential reconciliation is mediated by popular platforms in the "attention economy"…

  7. I like Gio and everything. He’s a great young player and blah blah blah but you guys are acting like this dude is Messi or something. This guy can’t go 5 games without getting injured.

  8. This is all being completely overblown. Everything will be fine. Gio will be back when he’s healthy and playing a big part with the team. Gregg doesn’t just hate the kid for no reason.

  9. Berhalter should have never been brought back. He was a good coach for after the failure to qualify for the world cup in Russia 2018, and for the last World Cup in Qatar. However, now he's damaged goods, and I doubt he'll ever be able to repair the relationships on this team. Additionally, he isn't the tactical technician that's required for this young team going forward. This generation of players with the right coaching has the opportunity to be our "Golden Generation" over the next two World Cups, with an opportunity to progress deeply into the tournament and perhaps take a medal, but I don't think that Berhalter has the experience, knowledge, or personnel skills to take this team to that next level. If he was that type of coach he would have had club offers pouring in from around the major leagues in Europe, or other national squads, while the USNMT was deciding his fate. The fact that none of that happened shows how poorly regarded he is around the world, and that's the bottom-line.
