Can’t wait to see the future of Canada. Herdman did great things that will never be forgotten, however I think this was a long time coming. Canada Soccer needs to get a lot figured out moving forward and change is never a bad thing. The worst thing about Herdman going to TFC is that, I can’t watch most of the games without an Apple MLS season pass, and now OneSoccer has another reason to kid themselves that they’re the “Home of Soccer in Canada” and not the Toronto FC extended coverage channel. Thankfully I have hope for the Canadian premier league, otherwise I’d unsubscribe to OneSoccer and sign up for Apple. If you are truly the home for soccer in Canada, you’d have the rights to all Canadian team MLS games
MLS teams will beat the shit out of Herdman on weekly basis without mercy. This is real testing I doubt Herdman will survive it. TFC fans will not spoil and protect you as clueless fans of CANMNT did, tremendous pressure weekly basis lol. His days with CANMNT was way too comfortable and easy. It seems that Canada soccer needs fans and money. They gained fans during WCQ but when that seceded, they had Canpl which shows a much lower level of play. So you need more eyeballs for Canpl to get money to Canmt. Am I crazy? Of course you have 3 MLS teams so perhaps CanPL isn’t that much of an issue, but if soccer can’t attain a top tier status (as we don’t quite have in the US with four competing leagues) how can they get money from Canadian fans? Jersey sales? Andi’s the best, BTW.

Herdman can turn it around from being a losing team to a winning team. Good enough for the playoffs, hopefully but not necessarily in the next year. Certainly expected by 2025, then a FINAL will be required …by 2026 whether they win it or not. Supply a handful of players for the National Team (as expected of Vancouver Whitecaps) and a few each from Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Hamilton etc! I think he can do that and maybe even faster than anticipated!
