He's a good player just alot of self doubt
Now that Kane is gone, Richarlison has to step up and show why Spurs signed him and have consistency in his game. Don't get me wrong, Richarlison can score goals at Everton then but he was never consistent in the Premier League since his Watford days.
Richarlison.. still has time.. the next North London Derby.. where he can try to do his diving bit that worked when he first confronted Arsenal playing for Watford.. he got a penalty.. then he can try kicking Aaron Ramsdale in the back.. just out of nostalgia for that spuds yob.. joseph watts.. 35yrs(!!) old.. Fans & players that deservev each other..
I watched the last game in the pub and was funny how people reacted to that chance where he put it through the defenders legs, whose hand then changed the path of the ball, so Richy flicked it with his heel before being tackled by the other defender. To me it was an awkward chance and his footwork was actually excellent. I've seen Kane miss similar chances, but with Richy it was "how has he missed that sitter?!".
He then went on to miss a golden opportunity with his head and get a stupid yellow which is worthy if criticism, but just notable how the mob like to just follow the narrative rather than follow the game as they see it

He's not Harry Kane, and doesn't need to be. Harry Kane possessed the skills and style of play akin to a deep-lying centre forward. Whereas, Richarlison has the skills, attributes and style of play akin to an advanced forward. When Rricharlison is supplied with quick through balls, he will do what does best. Link-up play is not his game, and his teammates need to play with his strengths in mind.
Am actually happy Harry Kane's gone, because it's given other players time to shine properly.

Kane held them back, much as I love him, he needed to leave, otherwise the press would continue all the noise around the club

Jurgen Klinsmann had nothing on Richy when it comes to theatricals. The slightest touch and he is clutching a part of his body(not necessarily, where he was touched). He rolls around, dives, and feigns injury. He is truly Number 1 at that even if not in Goalscoring.4redit where it is due.
He’s not a striker, he wasn’t at Watford or Everton at least not in the beginning of his Everton career anyway. He’s been unlucky tbh.
He needs time to adapt to the league, give him time adjust and then he will flourish.
He thinks he's too good for the club, but nobody else would want him. Bad attitude, just like NDombele, just look at his childish face. As long as I have a hole in my backside, he will not be a good striker for Spurs. Spurs, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not sign Johnson, he isn't good enough

I think a lot of people underestimate the work that Richarlison does off the ball. He might not be scoring but he's a massive wind-up merchant and he loves to mess with opponents. This opens up space for other Spurs players. Spurs won't be a one -man team in terms of relying on one person for goals any more. The goals for Richarlison will come now that he can step out of the giant shadow of Harry Kane. The work-rate I think is the only reason why Postecoglou wants to play Richarlison in the middle instead of Son. Otherwise, I'd be inclined to swap them too. Son did very well in the number 9 role, deputising for Kane a few seasons ago when he was injured.

Richarlison is trying too hard. In his mind he’s trying to score the perfect goal. What he needs to do is keep it simple. Just tap the ball into the net. A goal is a goal. You don’t have to do a hundred stepovers, back flips and somersaults. etc etc.

Against Bournemouth in the 1st half I see at least 3-4 times his team mates can feed the ball to Richie but they choose to pass the ball sideway. Not asking to thread the ball to play him through on the goal. Just play the ball to him more, let him do his thing and create his own shot.
As an Everton fan I was gutted when he went to Spurs! hard worker and always tracks back to help in defence, He'll score goals if he gets the right service, I'd have him back at The Toffees anytime!
Richy should just wear a yellow Brazil shirt under his Tottenham jersey maybe that would help.
Son will play Central if Richarlison continues to struggle
He needs to get out of the zone that he's in and start enjoying himself and be happy playing

richarlison to me has always been a B+ winger, or second striker, not a proper striker for team with Top4 ambitions
