Nottingham Forest #nffc fans have heard the rumours all summer that welsh wizard Brennan Johnson would be leaving the City Ground, with numerous clubs either having bids rejected or showing interest.
But with just 4 days left in the transfer window, it looks like #spurs Tottenham Hotspurs are the front runners for the winger. With spurs manager Ange Postecoglou now given Levy the green light on the signing of Johnson, and talks are expected to progress this week with the eventual outcome being that Johnson heads down to London.
Spurs have a lot of unwanted players on their roster, and are keen to use some of these players in the deal for Johnson, with Sanchez being the most likely to come the other way and join Forest. In other news Wilfred Ndidi rumoured move from rival club #leicestercity have resurfaced in recent days, with reports saying that Forest have already agreed personal terms with the player, and all that remains in to agree a fee with Leicester City, which could be around the £20m mark.
One player that Forest should be announcing in the coming days is Brazilian centre back Murillo, from South American giants #corinthians. The fee has been agreed and final paperwork is being sorted out before Forest can officially announce Murillo to the media.

I'm worried about selling johno. Losing 8 goals and close to ten or more goal involvements last season in the team with no real replacement. I know we have to sell, but selling one of our best assets after surviving in the prem is not what I expected. And even worse then that there is no direct or better replacement incoming. We are now weakening ourselves

Half of me thinks the money for Johno is crazy and we should take the money and run, but my heart just feels like he’s a critical player for us and could well be the difference between staying up and being relegated. His goals and assists last year really helped us. I totally understand why we would sell him and he hasn’t been great since the back end of last season, I just feel like we might live to regret this one.
Let him go. Then put Elanga in his place.

Well seriously I think that Brennan is worth £100 million of my money. But if Tottenham Hotspur thought that Harry Kane was worth £100 million to Tottenham. Brennan was a good for Forest as Kane was a good for Spurs.
Tottenham either cough up the cash or walk. Why should Forest sell a star player at a discounted price when they don't need to. Forest aren't in a financial problem so why cave in.
He will be find out for not defending enough for a winger and that will keep him out first team in my opinion and move on a couple years later to average prem team I promise you that will happen with him unfortunately he’s not ready yet for that move up in my opinion needs more time to adapt his game to the top remember I said this because it will happen
