Manchester City’s first bid for Rice is no where near what I would like him to be sold for I don’t like the deal and I’m pleased West Ham United have rejected the first bid. Rice is worth much more than 90m.
I don’t like the add on part of the deal of the transfer if it’s the same as the Arsenal one that we get 5m if Manchester City win the Champions league and 5m if they win the premier league, I don’t really want them to win those trophies I don’t mind the premier league but not another champions league. I rather West Ham United lose the 5m

For my thinking and reading of the situation,Arsenal thought they were in a one horse race for Declan,they thought January this year they’d successfully tapped him up through his old man,11pts clear of City and Prem league champs elect,the Arteta revolution you’ll win things with is and guaranteed champions league forever 😂😂😂😂.There typical bidding is always convoluted and over structured like a mortgage,as you say Geo we need the money up front well a lot of it.Arsenal are done at a total of £90 mill all in?Man City will hit our club with £110 mill by Friday plus some add ons ,£60 mill up front and £50 mill in year two with add ons following.Pep improves Declan, Arteta won’t improve him,Pep and Man City have let Arsenal blow this like the Prem league title.
I don't think it will be much more than Sullivan is being offered. Sean Rice is effectively putting a spanner in the works and if Dec had been a bit more mature about it we wouldn't be fighting this "I wanna go to Arsenal" business. At 24 he could easily take his family to Cheshire. I find all this wanting to stay near Mummy a bit weak personally.
Arsenal will probably get him for about 92 million when all the dust has settled and Sullivan realises it's all dried up

If man city offer £80 in x2 payments…plus add-ons 5mill for 40 apps, 5 mill if they win premiership, 5 mill if they win the champions league, 5mill if he captains england anytime…….£100 mill package lets move on….everyone's a winner.
Its about time reasonable bids come in now. I think dec has earneď a great contract. Can be unplayable sometimes. A great player and is just getting better and better..

£100M as a bare minimum is what this player is worth. They are taking the pi55 trying to get him on the cheap. Can't blame them though. Somehow, I don't think these two large clubs would play this game with another club of their stature. Hold out and hopefully they will all fall through and he can stay with us.
