Why would he agree to do a switch the kid has never been called up to any of the junior canada teams got cut from the CPL and MLS plus john herdman and the CSA has shown about zero interest to bring him along. With he's stats as a teenager in the Serbian league he will only get better in a position of need he would of been a great cap tie. I guarantee they won't cap tie koleosho so almost no cap ties in the upcoming window is a disappointment by CSA
Behind in the depth chart to Nelson and brym come on you had a midfielder who was playing 2nd tier Belgium league , mitrovic is playing top flight Serbian league scoring at a high rate and he's team is going to Europa conference league that is delusional if CSA genuinely believe that
Depth chart is a joke he’s leading his team in goal scoring with 10 goals and lead them to Europa conference qualifying and out of those 10 goals 2 were against your starting goalie borjan 🤫
Brym has had a great year as well but no way is Mitrovic that low on the depth chart. Canada has to start acting like they want to play with the big boys soon. Once again we get stuck only playing concacaf.

A good part of this problem, and it is very problematic when you loose one young talented player "because his ranking is lower on some chart"…What chart? Who makes the chart and how, where does the info come from to make the chart? Canada is a country where it is not uncommon that families are financially incapable to send their kids to practise sports. Any decent academy is way out of reach for many youngsters due to their parents being short on cash. So, on the other hand one has to understand that soccer is still in a development phase here and there are many things to be worked on before we can realy criticize our coches and decision makers.
He just played for Serbia NT today vs Sweden, so that's the end of that.
There is actually another Stefan Mitrovic who was starting CB for Serbia today.
