I have wanted this guy since the day he scored his first goal against us
I'm not saying Rice is better than Rodri or Casemiro, but there's no way either of them can carry the ball forward like Declan Rice does.
I had no idea we signed the new Beckenbauer
The game WH vs Arsenal… the way Rice played, he was on another level above Xhaka and Partey (who are both excellent footballers in their own right). That was the game many Arsenal fans fell in love with him.
All his missing is shooting & vision, to become world class but I trust in artea to develop his shooting and vision.

Ok but no creative pass. Lots of running and nice dribbles but no creative pass or shot on goal to cap it off with. We call this a nothingburger.
Actually, there isn’t a midfielder like this in the epl. Declan has driven through every midfield grouping in the epl easily. Wow. Not even man city midfielders can do that
franke de jong is smoother
We missed this against city, there was no one trying to carry the ball from our half to their half.
He's like a race horse when he gets on one of these runs
Looks like frenkie de Jong but with half the technique and no passing ability. He's only of interest because he's English and they need domestic players.
It's just his body faints for me. Very clever player. The Champions league isn't ready for this Arsenal team😊

He's so so much better than I thought on the ball, we all know how good he is off the ball, he's a destroyer and wins duels for fun
He reminds me a little of Zidane in some of his movement, not the same level….but you never know where he can go, still young.
