Nottingham Forest #nffc look set to complete their 4th signing of this summer transfer window, with world cup winning right back Gonzalo Montiel heading to Nottingham today to complete his medical and sign his contract.
The deal with #sevilla looks set to be a loan with a obligation to buy for around the £10 million mark, the reason for this could be to bypass FFP rules, as we all know Nottingham Forest have concerns over FFP this summer and pushing the transfer into next year helps balance the books.
Montiel is a experienced right back, with champions league games under his belt, and of course good experience on the international level with Argentina.

Shelvey & Leeds what a perfect match
Seems like Turner can catch and hold the ball which is a revalation after Navas. I would accept Horvath as the no 2 if he was happy to be it. But if not then we need a back up keeper of reasonable quality for a further 2 years to allow Shelvey to develop (he looks very promising but needs more experience)

I’ll be happy if we get a couple of mil for serge, we didn’t pay anything for him, and Shelvey, I would be happy if they paid half of his wages just to get him gone. Also I don’t see the point in having 2 keepers who both want to be no1, I’m happy with turner, to be honest.
