  1. Sheez… loads of positives to take from this game. My prediction was a very optimistic 4-0 win with Jackson and Sterling to score – needless to say if Chilwell got that goal then I'd would have had a perfect prediction.

    The positives:
    – a clean sheet… much-needed and especially after the first 2 games.
    – Gallagher again ran like a dog in the middle, made a number of decent blocks and interceptions
    – Sterling is showing glimpses of his City days. Insane how based on this season so far, he's surely the first name on the teamsheet. Absolutely chuffed for him as he is certainly one of the nicest guys off the pitch. Also there was a moment where he made a pass very similar to that Salah one from 2 weeks ago that nearly led to a goal.
    – Jackson kept to his word, that tap-in goal in the right position is typical goal poaching. As for that goal, it was Sterling and Enzo that made it, Enzo's volley to Sterling was eye candy.
    – As for Sterling 2nd goal, Caicedo and even Enzo deserves a lot of credit. It was a great team goal compared to the first one which simply was just Sterling going individually in looking like prime Hazard, but Caicedo started the whole build-up to it. However don't think a lot of people noticing that Enzo did decide to let the ball roll out for a throw-in for Gusto, which in the end led to the rest. Enzo could have kept the ball in, but it wasn't even a certainty we would have seen something similar where everyone got into the right positions. I feel that throw-in definitely gave Chelsea the time to get it right.
    – Luton pretty much parked the bus in the first half. Yes thanks to Sterling we did manage to break through their defense, but Luton did look more open in the second half which played well into our game and gave us chance to expose them.
    – Malo Gusto is quality and the scouting we did around him needs to be mentioned. James might be out for now but we're definitely sorted in terms of the RB position. Definitely over long-term he will be a great asset to the team, and linked up great with Sterling.
    – Can't really fault any Chelsea player in this game. Hoping to see a few youngters like Burstow and Maatsen play a full 90 mins vs Wimbledon ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Judging by the way Chelsea plays, Jackson will struggle to score. The defenders and mids very rarely atempt to give Jackson a through ball. Rewatch preseason. Most of the goals were through balls.
ALso, Poch needs to stop the defenders from backing off when they have support.

  3. Younes, you should start by apologize to Sterling,,, you said you start him only because Mudryk is injured…Sterling is class. ppl shows their quality when others around understand you. Class is permanent form is temporary as i said here about Sterling ,,,, good win.

  4. weโ€™ve never needed a 10 more than we do now, weโ€™re not progressing the ball efficiently enough, and not progressing the ball enough = not enough chance creation.

  5. The 3rd goal was some what lucky tbh. Sterlings pass was deflected by a luton player. But sometimes all you need is a bit of luck to get the deserved result.

  6. It seems poch will never learn from his past mistakes. He must stop playing with that formation itโ€™s too defensive and we are a top side we should have a formation that allows the wingers to attack and not the wing backs.

  7. As good as Sterling was tonight, i still Cant wait to see the back of him. I just never taken to him. He only turns up against the shit teams just like last season.

  8. As far as how I see with Sanchez and kept in goal all these players do is score and rip the net open but on the field playing against other keepers they kick the ball all over the place.
Poch got to tell them imagine there keeper in the goal and you'll see how well they do

  9. Bro heres my thing i thought we were just ok….raz was good gusto is basically same as lyon which is a compliment at 20yrs old is crazy….nico was aight should of had a few assist…enzo was class looks better than last season…still so much work to do and more to come from this team…we are missing our 2 best players and conor needs to go imo….we are now called the billionaire boys who also sold about 400m worth of players to rivals which is conveniently ignored๐Ÿ˜‚…we are the best selling club in the world…poch needs to tighten up im getting annoyed

  10. Whoever compares Jackson to Drogba again deserves to be arrested including you Younes, Chelsea needs a striker or Broja better come good.

  11. Jackson is such a unique striker.. He needs to find a balance between dropping deep and breaking the lines as he does the former too much (probably due to not having a cam) but his ceiling is high and he's tenacious ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ

  12. On the 25th of August 2004, Drogba scored his 1st premier league goal for Chelsea on his 3rd premier league appearance against newly promoted Crystal Palace. Remind you of someone?๐Ÿ˜

  13. Bro, let's back off this drogba/Jackson comparison. It's disrespectful to Drogba and puts a lot of pressure on jackson. I'm sure he logs on tic toc and sees people compare him to it and puts more pressure on himself. If Jackson didn't score and didn't distribute that ball in the 2nd half, I was definitely going to call you out on the drogba comparison you made because he didn't look very good 1st half. Chill, brother.

  14. Remember sterling from city? I really think with a creator/10, Sterling is wayy better arriving at the far post. He scored maybe 30 goals from kdbs crosses. As a creator, he may be limited, especially at cutting back or crosssing. We need to get cherki. Their combo would be lethal
