Players getting hurled abuse and sworn at from the crowd for 90minutes. In this context, It's entirely understandable players swear at referees. Rugby players don't swear because the crowd are well behaved. Fix the crowd in football, it's the only way to improve the sport.

VAR is a corruption tool
they must get an appeal system like they got in cricket two or three a side
VAR increases accuracy of decisions but makes football less entertaining.
Ally is right. If a ref makes a mistake fair play. VAR making a mistake is shameless, a shambles. Should not be happening!
Saying to get rid of VAR is just moronic and ignorant of what state the game was in without it.
VAR is a glorified replay, no different than us rewinding clips on TV. The issue is still the awful officials, the accountability has got to be higher for the refs. That's the one change that has yet to be made. A ref has a fucking blunder of a game, what is their penalty? Nothing, they don't have to own up to it, they don't get interviewed about it and they go into the next match just as untouchable.
Refs are not above the law of the game, they are there to ensure it's carried out. When the refs are either corrupt or just plain awful, then we seriously need to consider an officiator for the refs.
Tomiyasu was very hard done to indeed, it’s all getting a bit ridiculous.
As an arsenal fan since 91, the big change in our team has been the resolve on defending the last fifteen minutes of a game. This feels like the days of Gilberto Silva and Patrick Vieira. Our team has resolve. Our attack has never been poor even through our ten years depressed era, we were still scoring goals of the season contenders during that period. Our issue was defensive mettle and back against the wall defending. It looks like we have that in our DNA again.
Why is it with football that dependent on who the ref is determines the result of the match? In most other sports the referee is there to determine the fair result with accuracy not just making decisions based on how he feels that night.

Blame the other arsenal player who took long to take a throw in and then passes it on to tomi to throw it. Arsenal biggest time wasters last season and will be the most carded for it to.
One thing that will improve the game is to let trainer's and physio's on the pitch while players are injured just like they do in Rugby. It instantly stops time wasting.

watched this match and have never wanted to not watch Premier League again more. Arsenal were upsetting, Palace were upsetting, and the refs got more wrong than right. I'm a Palace fan but screw Ayew and I am with Tomiyasu.
Why give a yellow card for "wasting time" on a throw in? Why not just add 2x the time "wasted"?? We're gonna have 100 yellow cards this season from throw ins, which is so dumb!
