How did Fernandez not get a yellow for that dive??? MLS should start handing out yellows at a minimum (I'd vote for reds for clear dives) a lot more freely.
😧
Shows how irrelevant Fire are… I'm a US Liverpool and LAFC fan and had NO clue Shaqiri played for them.🤣🤣🤣
The elbow damaged Shaqiri's face near his eye.. It doesn't HAVE to be violent conduct for a Red Card
"Risks the safety of their opponent" is enough for a Red Card
I think the second disallowed Chicago goal and the Chicago goalie’s tackle of Facu were more controversial than the other plays shouted out in that match, surprised they didn’t make the cut on this or the highlights.
No handball on Austin… His arms are in a natural position. If his arm was up more, I could see it called, but this is no handball for me.
If the Barreal play is a handball, so is the Cascante play… just sayin.
Also, no additional look at the varying elbows to the face in Hell is Real? Acosta catches an elbow to the face, no foul, but Nwobodo has a nearly identical play happen later and not only collects a foul, but an additional yellow (which puts him into accumulation suspension…)?!?
Considering it’s a deflected ball that hits Alvaro’s arm from point blank range. He makes the clearance if Gaddis doesn’t interfere
I would love to have seen your take on the second disallowed goal for Chicago. As an Orlando City fan I can't but be glad it went our way, but that was was way more controversial than the offsides if you ask me. Also Richey absolutely obliterating Torres should have been a penalty kick all day in my book. Would love to have seen your take.
Orlando City player deserved red card
What is a outside back???
Messi of alpes❤
Syakiri was full of responsibility about that yellow card for Chicago Fire
That nycfc offside is clearly onside?? Look at the lines on the field it’s so clearly onside
Look at 3:49 , I don't understand how you can commentate over Bakrar's disallowed goal and claim the refs made a good decision. I love the MLS but this just makes us look like idiots. Do you not see the vertical grass lines on the field? That is one of the most egregious calls I've ever seen considering the refs had access to VAR in addition to the lines on the field that should have made this incredibly obvious.
Shaq played for Liverpool for years. Liverpool. English Premier League.
Tough as nails. That other euro best watch his ass next meeting.
Once a Red always a Red.
YNWA🍁
This officiating is terrible, an embarrassment for the league as a whole & just results in creating a more ignorant American audience
The ref was garbage…
You just described all the reasons why that wasn't a handball in the ATX game.
He obviously kicks the ball at shaqiri on purpose and that's an easy yellow. That shows his character so he probably threw that elbow on purpose as well imo.
He should've gotten a second yellow, hence red card.
@4:10 Diving in the box should be a red every time
Should NYCFC flop have been a card for simulation?
I think the referee nailed the No call on the Cascante handball. That was not deliberate, he had no time to react, and he was in the natural motion of kicking the ball!
Im not gonna lie i miss the old handball laws. 5:37 kinda feels like they they read the outdated handbook before the game tho😂😂
Did Busqets hit the guy or not
NYFC-Minnesota — your freeze frame shows the player held on-site by a defender on the opposite side of the field — how can you say it clearly shows him off-side??????
Go fire
Does Schlegel definitely hear the whistle and know it's from the ref? There's enough doubt to say Schlegel is just trying to clear that ball.
That's "FATkiri" 😂
Shaqiri Liverpool lagend 👍
Terrible analysis
Schlegel: Not even a yellow. Foul should have gone the other way. Shaqiri grabs him from behind. If Shaqiri wasn't so short, that arm is nothing but a bump to the chest. He put himself into a dangerous position while foulding Schlegel.
Second one: 100% red. He lined up Shaqiri and took a shot at him. Violent Conduct all day.
It should have been red for both players. This is a sport, not hockey
