Why are they so desperate to get rid though, slightly worrying to me that.
Club is ran so poorly. I know secure a loan deal with obligation to buy next summer . Simples .
United are so busy trying to mitigate past bad mistakes and pretend everything is going exactly to plan, (e.g. United manager comes out in July / August to say, "we are happy with our business, we are happy with the squad." This is usually a bad sign) we are so absorbed with trying to stand still and pretend there's no problems that we miss every single new opportunity to make things better. I bet right now there are deals we could do in a matter of hours that will make a huge difference to our season, but the people who are responsible for making these decisions are stubbornly refusing to acknowledge any major problems. It's like the club think that if they don't face the issue, it doesn't exist. We are constantly dragging our feet and whining from the outset about how hard it is to sign players. We make 3 or 4 moves maximum per transfer window, (regardless of the squad situation) we do everything we can to limit expectations starting several months before the window opens. This includes the latest excuses, the "sales process" and new FFP restrictions. Then we make a single "marquee signing" (this year's star signing is Mount), and we also like to buy a backup 3rd or 4th choice goalkeeper, which we never see play for us. Every year the same.
What I don't get is all the talk about "doing things differently" "making progress"!? Where did that come from? We signed DVB early. We signed AWB early too. Mount falls into a pattern we have been stuck in for the last decade, but some fans are willing to deceive themselves by calling it progress just because they are so starved of any positivity (when we aren't playing) and want to believe things are improving.
Protests are the most important thing now. The Glazers will stay unless it's impossible for them.
Murtough and Armold are stringing us along. We're most likely done on transfer front. We need 4 more players. 2 midfielders, a cb and a striker.
Go and get Gravenberch, Amrabat, Todibo and a striker.
You can't just agree with Rashford's immaturity and lack of development. He HAS to learn how to cross, pass, and track back…..and not sulk.

Rashford may be playing out of position but that don't mean you make no effort whatsoever, in my opinion he has been our worst player so far! His body language is not good to put it mildly.
City literally lost 6 in 20/21 and 5 last season you can win the title with 6 losses. Liverpool lost 1 in 18/19 to city’s 4 it’s the draws that kill you.
If we make it out of the CL group because of assistance from Amrabat, then he will have paid for his weight in gold in the first season

Is keeping Maguire more benefitial then a net 15 M earning on him ( 30 transfer minus 15 payoff) ? …Is he going to be worth 15 M this season when LIndelof Shaw will be ahead of him in the race… Instead Pavard would have been a great signing – could play multiple positions,,,!

We aren't signing anyway clubs to weak to tell Maguire and co i clear off act like the worlds biggest club instead of just talking.
We will still lack pace in midfield . I keep looking back at Maxence Caqueret and i think he is the type of player with the mobility and energy we really need . We missed a trick with Collins at Wolves , Brentford go a bargain . I would also like to see Malacia back in contention . This will be a dismal season . Last season was a miracle , fourth this season , I just can't see it .
With the news that hojlund will probably be out till the international break, do you think we'll try to bring in a striker at least on loan?
