He can play on the right instead of Bowen or as a 10 instead of Pac man. A great option for Moyes. Can also potencially play upfront what with Moyes ability to turn wingers into strikers. Boy loves a tackle too and is a great presser. Top signing!
My only concern with Kudus is that he doesn't fit the Moyes style of player. I hope Moyes doesn't try to undo this guys talent with taking the flare out of him. I see him in that Benrahma role with Bowen on the right and dare I say it Antonio up front. Maybe the reason for Antonio situation last season was because he was getting fed up with Moyesball all the time and he had no real back up. He thrived with Bowen and Lingard up with him and perhaps the Lingard type player ie Kudus could be the solution to getting another good year out of Antonio. I did want to let Antonio go, but if we get this deal done I think we could have solved the issue for now. That doesn't mean we don't need another striker. Antonio can't do it all himself and I wouldn't want to take Bowen from the right and call him our striker. Maybe when Antonio is injured etc but not as a direct replacement because we lose his agility out wide.
I have a feeling from what ive read about this guy that this signing could free up Bowen to move into a striker role if and when necessary …. again more options for Moyes as we take on 4 competitions again this season.
