Josesito Lopez makes a return to the ring for the second time after a lengthy hiatus as he faced off against Saul Corral, in a scheduled 10-round welterweight bout on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 at The Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles, CA on PBC on FS1.

Corral opened up the first round with a clean hook as Lopez lacked the initial aggression to set the tone for the fight. After slightly missing his opportunity to gain control of the fight in the earlier rounds, Lopez releases a smothering combination followed up with a strong body shot.

As the fight arrived to the middle rounds, both Lopez and Corral released lethal combinations. Although Lopez finishes strong by delivering two jaw shaking right hands in round 6 as Corral closes round 7 with a vicious hook.

After going the full distance, Lopez found his position of power and used that position to close in the latter rounds via left hooks, combination and jaw-checking jabs.

Lopez improves his record to (35-7, 19 KOs )win by way of Unanimous Decision.
