Not since Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. They both did that 4 times in their career. Stealing 2nd ,3rd and home in the same inning is rarer than a perfect game pitched. If Elly ever does it again in his career, he's in very select company.

Elly is showing how baseball should be played. You don’t always have to wait for a hot to make a run at home plate. I was a kid growing up in Kentucky when Pete Rose played for the Reds. Pete Rose to me at that time was the text book definition of what a baseball ball player was and should be. Elly reminds me of Pete Rose.

Its always wonderful to see new players like this. I remember when Jeter arrived at Yankee Stadium he just electrified NY. De la Cruz is the same.
The problem though is the reds wont try to keep him, so he'll be at another club the moment he becomes a free agent.
