  1. Keep in mind, he already plays in a Championship team. He is not at the point in his career where he is trying to make it to a Championship team.

  2. Hiya geo mate I totally agree with everything you said kudos is a great player but I think eze and alise from Palace would be amazing to our team and going forward instead of back

  3. Paqueta and your one person geo who actually knows how to pronounce his name properly well done . Not pack a tar ffs. Kudos good and get you but Paqueta unfortunately will go to best team and coach in the world unlike Dec. 😢 Don't blame him either one bit.

  4. Should be going after him regardless, don’t see him as direct replacement at all, would still love for us to go for Eze to play in that AMC role

  5. Lingard would be fine if we got the player we had on loan….who was excellent.

Whether he still has that talent in the armoury is the question. The truth is that Lingard should have demanded a transfer after the end of his loan period but for whatever reason, he didn't.

  6. They are leaving Ajax in their droves. Dusan tadic left citing a lack of quality and ambition. They are going to be struggling this season. Kudus will be a good signing.

  7. Geo sorry to put a damper on this one but we shall not get Kudus. He will take one look at the management, style of play, ownership and see it would be a backward step. Lingard is another addition to the Dad’s Army moyes is building

  8. In my opinion Eze of Palace would give us more than what Paqueta is curr providing in terms of performances. I very ok with Paqueta going and we get a more prem robust attacker ala Eze.
And this is all down to the fact Moyes cannot deploy high end talent.

We win at Bmth 4 zip last season and this, DM said he went low block…my word!
Cannot be excited by DM brand of football but hes a successful manager for us?! Its like pulling teeth this!!!

  9. Moyes should stop jizzing over Maguire, and spend the money elsewhere. Take the 30M and overpay 10M each for Jonathan Tah, Conor Gallagher, and Kudus. And maybe throw in Palmer as well. Top 6 finish, guaranteed.

  10. Kudus is a very good player but I'm getting sick of Moyes always converting wingers into strikers the whole time. He does this because no strikers work under his tactics as they're always feeding off scraps.

  11. Geo giving it large with the retro Scotland shirt. Lorimer and Bremner 1974 what a midfield that was. Kudus and Palmer sounds exciting BUT it would be a bit of an adjustment for both of them so there would need to be some experience in there so they can build up their playing time.

On an unrelated matter has the Jesse Lingard rumour reached you yet?

  12. Hopefully Steidten can now show his worth, with Kudus and some up and coming striker. If West Ham do end up selling Rice and Paq for 170m plus Cole Palmer that will be fantastic business.

  13. I see nothing wrong with West Ham being seen as a "stepping stone" club. If promising young players see others moving on to Champion's League clubs after a shortish period with us they going to be more likely to welcome such a move themselves. It would be a shame to lose Paqueta so soon but the future dividends might be greater than you'd think. On the other hand, if West Ham dug its heels in over Paqueta's move that would send a very different message to prospective recruits. And, as Geo says, adding a bit of money to the transfer kitty in the process would be no bad thing. Another consideration is that moving successful players on quickly makes the club more attractive to agents, who no doubt like to see their cash flow ticking over nicely.

  14. If it isnt Kudos for Paqueta. Wouldnt it be nice having kudos as a left winger with a midfield of: Alvarez, Bowen, JWP, Paqueta, Kudos. Thats a counter attacking unit right there then the set piece king doing his thing. A dream so far hopefully Tim and Moysey can get it done. COYI

  15. Kudus, Mbama, Bowen. That would be fun to watch. It appears Kudus could give Benny a bit of a challenge if he wants to keep his spot. He plays left n right sides. I’m keen!
