Nottingham Forest #nffc welsh wizard Brennan Johnson has been linked to numerous clubs this summer, and today we have yet another new name. Big Spending #chelsea are now reportably front runners to sign the Forest winger.
New breaking today is that Johnson has enter talks with Chelsea over a move to London this summer, after they failed in their attempt to lure Olise from Crystal Palace after he signed a new contract. The deals of this deal for Johnson to #premierleague rivals Chelsea could involve a player exchange with rumours of defender Trevoh Chalobah coming the opposite way and joining Nottingham Forest.

Scarpas had the wool pulled over his eyes by Marinakis I suspect. Doubtful hed ever have put pen to an Olympiacos contract but via Forest on loan hes run out of options. Lets hope Greek football is everything Forest have cracked it upto be!

Gutted for Scarpa, really as he is next level. The only positive I can see from this move is that he will play everyday (which he should be doing for forest) and if he has an amazing season which I think he will we can take him back next year as he was only a loan. if mgw has an amazing season then I can see some top clubs going for him next year.

Why would marinakis want shelvey at any of his clubs? He wants good players who want match time when that time is limited at Forest, so shelvey makes perfect sense. Dont know how you cant see this

Players come and players go, seen it all before in my 50 odd years of following the Reds
Surely IF Scarpinha is excellent in Greece prior to January, resolves his injury and personal problems, and we get the usual run of injuries etc… then Forest terminate the loan and he'd be akin to a free transfer in the New Year. Or… if Forest are doing crap and the big Greek bins Cooper, the new boss may want to give him a second chance.
Amazing though that Scarpa goes from being in the South American Team of the Year in 2022, to on his way to Greece within a few short months under Cooper's influence. A bit like that young French centre half who couldn't get in the Forest match day squad ahead of Cook, Worrall, and McKenna last year, then goes off to Spain and shows how good he his. I'd rather have seen Scarps given a chance in pre-season, and perhaps a decent chance in the two home games before the transfer window shuts, and if he's crap then put him on the first plane to Greece. As it stands, it feels like both Forest and Scarpa have missed an excellent opportunity.

Johnson is a top prem player but 60mil is enough to sort out any debt to keep us alive for a few seasons just don’t know what league I like Johnson but love Forest we have sold better players than him before and survived
