Agree with Martin. We saw how the absence of Saliba affected Arsenal, it has to be a priority for the club to lock him down. Futhermore, if £100mill can be spent on Rice, surely they can give Saliba what he wants.

We were after Tielemans when we were shooting for Top 4. We're above him now, and aiming for better targets as you can see with Rice and Caicedo.
And Saliba is already a done deal – Ornstein tweeted about it, it'll be announced over the coming weeks.
Saliba will be up there as one of the biggest signings we can make this summer.
Martin, tielemans wasn’t signed not for wage reasons. We wanted him when we were fighting for 4th. He’s good enough for that, however where we are and where we hope to be, he isn’t good enough. I’m glad we didn’t sign him.

Not an arsenal fan but partey has been the biggest guy to improve them in my opinion, if they lose partey they go back to square one. He even made xhaka look good for a bit after being terrible for years. They need to keep partey and saliba agreed.

Tilemans phoned it in all season because he knew he was going on a free and didnt want to get injured. Hes got no pace which is why Arsenal werent interested.

Tielemans was a part of a Leicester City team that got relegated, Leicester whether the club likes it or not was fully capable of being an upper-mid table team the fact that they got relegated and he was a part of that absolute shambles and I'm glad Arteta kept away from him because that was a pathetic show from that whole squad and I've lived around Leicester for a good amount of time and their fans are good people that deserve better from their players.
Is Saliba really so great, or is he just better than what else is at the club at CB? I mean, when you're bringing in Rob Holding to replace him, then it's no wonder Arsenal started leaking more goals. And I don't rate Ramsdale tbh – I don't support Arsenal so I was delighted when he signed his new deal recently 😊
People seem to also ignore how agile Saliba is as well! The way he can't easily get beaten by tricky pacey players when he's on the right side and can recover well too is slept on. We've seem with the likes of Holding and Maguire how much of a problem it is when you are a stiff fridge defensive player in the modern game.
They need to tie him down to a contract or you'll have another Rob Holding situation. He's done his loan stints, which surprised me tbh, but he's integral to Arsenal now.
