Frimpong looks like a good player could be a nice back-up on both wings …..Arteta may be seeing him as a genuine option on the wings especially for Saka.

Doesn't Ben White tuck in as a third CB when Zinny inverts? Given that KT can play as a CB (in a three), doesnt that mean that he's more than suitable if we need to invert on the right side instead🤔
Why are we going for Frimpong when we already have two backups on the wings? We have Troussard, Reiss, and Martinelli on the left. We have Saka, Reiss, and potentially Jesus on the right. We need a Lavia or someone else for the middle. But not much else need strengthening.
It's not like getting 50 quid off a car they play with millions so it's worth going in low
frimpong is like tavares..too confident and unrelaxed..we need someone else …like henrichs or sacha boey who playmore as a defensive cover

I can't see we'll sign another RB. Assumming Xhaka leaves, I think realistically we'll sign another addition to the 3 players we've already bought.
Hum about the « low ball » we have to stop saying that, you say they were right to do it for the 3 players but rice they paid what we all know was required, havertz a lot think it’s too much and same for me after those 3 years we paid almost what Chelsea paid for the leverkusen player and the only one I agree they did it successfully is timber!!

about Vlahovic, in the recent pod Jesus participated, he mentions that Arteta tried to get him in the winter window of that season but Pep blocked the idea and only informed Jesus about the interest near the end of that window. That would suggest that Jesus was always our first option striker and Vlahovic was the plan B.

I see Frimpong as more of a Saka backup than a right back in our system. He’ll keep the width high up but still crash the box. And will track back like Saka.
I'd rather we went in for MOUSSA DIABY (whom we tried to sign last summer) or SAMUEL CHUKWEZE in lieu of FRIMPONG because we are fully covered in defense/right-back positions – but we still need to give SAKA some competition.
If frimpong joins I'm sure timber will play in midfield
