  1. Thank you Captain Gundo for everything. Enjoy your time at Barca.

Welcome to City Kovacic. I know you'll be a success at City.

City dealt pretty nicely with the loss of captain Kompany, captain Fernandinho, club legend David Silva, club legend Aguero, key players like Sterling, Cancelo, Jesus, Zinchencho so City will cope just fine without Gundogan.

City don't force players to stay against their will. City board and scouting department know what they are doing so no need to panic City fans.

Stay calm, stay humble, stay hungry.

    💙💙💙💙💙

  2. He's leaving because his wife wants out of England and they've just had a baby. Hes leaving at the pinnacle of his career and city fans wish him well for the future. A class act…

  3. Miss him as a player?? Yes!! A lot, he was always there for City in the clutch moments. But miss him as a captain that is debatable. There are multiple players in the City team with leadership quality like for example Ruben Dias, Even Walker if he stays and KDB. Gundo is definitely legend in my books so yeah sad to see him leave.

  4. We didn't miss Aguero that much ✅
We didn't miss kompany that much✅
    We didn't miss David Silva a lot✅
In Mancity we will always replace legendary ballers✅
    With ELITE ballers ✨✅

  5. tf is this guy talking about? Man City were literally offering him more wages than Barca. You think Barca can match City when it comes to money? these English journalists are just something else. If money was a factor, he would have just gone to PSG. OR, I'm sure a Saudi club would have offered him way more if he wanted it.

  6. Gundogan will miss City. He relies on the high-priced, highly talented team around him. He is a shadow of his EPL form when he plays for Germany, I would expect the same poor play at Barca.

  7. Gundogan will be a huge miss at City. He is result drivenand his football intelligence is amazing, very similar to Steven Gerard's. He's a match winner and a leader every manager can rely on. He singlehandedly stopped the 2021/22 PL title from going to Anfield. No Liverpool fan would forget this guy in a hurry. A player whose later football years are ironically far better than his prime. What a player. Barca are lucky to have him.

  8. Not continuing your Legacy and become a cult hero at a club.Rather going for the smaller, riddled with corruption and chaos club(Barcelona atm) seems like a bad decision to me. Maybe he has lower drive and does not want to fight 2 more players for his position at this age.

  9. Ilkay Gundogan will FOREVER be remembered as the captain of Manchester City's 2022-23 Treble winning team, there is NOTHING left to accomplish for Gundogan at Man City. If he ever comes back to the Etihad to pay against City NO ONE will jeer him! He'll be remembered with great fondness by Man City fans!

  10. It's a coup for Barcelona, personally I'm sad to see him go but oh well go to Barcelona who aren't going to do any significant in Europe 2023-24 ???

  11. Who can resist the request of a wife? None. Yes he will be missed on some games but to play for MC is very demanding on long run. It was shocking to see just after the UCL final the tears, tired players and relaxation.
My concern is that the top players may not decide well. CR would be on top at RM, Messi also. We saw several great players who could not even get close to their former performance like Bale, Lukaku, E Hazard….. MC is the best choice for new club.
Good luck Ilkay I expected you to become a top trainer at City!
