  1. Roy Keane was a thug with limited football and athletic ability. He wouldn't even get into a League 2 side in the modern game, and would be worth 200k at most. Wrexham have better players

  2. Roy was proper player but my god Denis Irwin had it all, left foot right foot good passing decent finishing never injured good set piece taker he would be worth 1 billion

  3. 150 million for the most influential player in the history of the Premier league. I would suggest a little bit more 😮😮

  4. i watch sky for serious top tier analysis not to see pundits laugh and bantering with themselves, will be making a complaint to the press ombusdman tomorrow morning

  5. I know the inflation has gone way up, but honestly compare the players of the 90s and 2000s era ability wise to some of the players that are going for 80 or 90m mill today, their price tags would be ridiculous if they were playing today

  6. If players today are being sold at 100m plus.. .then players like roy you can't put a price on them.. influenctional; Leader; are not words that can used be used easily nower days

  7. Roy Keane wouldn't be WANTED today! You can't break peoples legs these days without red cards, and certainly can't kick fans! No club would want him!!

  8. You'd be getting a top midfielder, a fantastic passer of the ball, especially between the lines and into the forward's feet, pretty quick, had an average of 88% accuracy every single season, fantastic first touch and a player that liked to control the game from deep (Scholes only took on that role after Keane left and Keane was the one that launched most of our attacks). I'd say about 130 million, same for Patrick Vieria.
