As a neutral, this was an enjoyable mid table clash to watch. Europa league conference qualification would be a successful season for Spurs. They won't get anywhere near top 4.
Brentford, a back line of five and a line of four in front of them is not easy for attacking wingers to get crosses in. The game was mostly played in their third and they relied on the big boot up front to a couple of fast forwards. They were lucky to get a point.
Tottenham need a striker not a centre forward 💀, plus the pen was a bit harsh you can see he paused and went down after the contact.
I hope in my lifetime that penalties become about genuine fouls, rather than tiny clips and players throwing themselves to the floor, just because contact was made. Bored of it.

Maddison did fantastic. But i have to say Vicario was very shaky.
He might find it difficult especially against City, United and even Chelsea.
Brentford played well especially without Ivan Toney and David raya

This really shows that we (Tottenham) can really do stuff without kane. Bit soft with the penalty but good performance overall. Brentford also looking a big threat this season. Ange is definitely cooking.
Spurs played well they got a few yellow at the start that ruined there game and brentford were in there heads sftet that richy is not the answer for them they need to bring a striker in

spurs played really good tbf, especially w/o their man CB from the 13th minute. pretty unlucky for the goals conceded as well.

Brentford only lost matches at home last season and beat City home and away. Many people predicted that Brentford would win. Not a bad result for Tottenham all things considered.

That was never a penalty. When will these morons tell the difference between a foul, and contact FFS. Ref was a disgrace. Handing out yellows for nothing and then giving a pen for a nothing tackle. Premier league officials are absolute morons
